Intel Core i5-3570 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-heatsink included is crap, but is expected-not overclockable but i knew that already
Pros:-bought it elsewhere for 159.99 which is a steal-great performance and low heat Comment:
Very good CPU for the money. just that id only buy this when its on sale. if you are looking for a i5 ivy bridge chip, id suggest getting the i5 3330, 3450, or 3470 as they are only a tad slower, but 10-30 bucks cheaper |

Intel Core i5-3570 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:cost/benefit
Pros:Fast, efficient, quiet cooler Comment:
This chip is great, however the cooler that came with it had a defective clip, causing it to not seat properly and resulting in heat issues. However that isn't the reason for my low score, that is a result of where this chip fits in the current intel lineup. I RMA'd my 3570, and picked up a K which was on sale at the time. I decided to move up to the K for the following reason. If you have no intention of overclocking, save a few bucks and go with a 3550 or one of the 34xx processors, you won't be able to see the difference a couple hundred mhz make. If you plan on overclocking, or just want a chip you can increase the capacity of in the future, go for the K. The 3570k will generally do 4.2ghz on stock voltage, and 4.5ghz with a bit of tweaking. This chip is just awkward in it specs, a lower cost chip will provide practically the same result, or one that costs only slightly more will provide much better value. I decided I wanted to be able to increase the performance of my CPU if I found I need to in the future, as I tend to run a system for a longer period of time than most (my system before this had been going for 7 years), I felt the K gives the best cost benefit ratio of the current i5 line up, what is $15-$20 more when you are already spending over $200? |

Intel Core i5-3570 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Not overclockable
Pros:Fast, good pricepoint Comment:
Bought this for a mid-range gaming computer. Working out great so far. Only downside is the lack of overclocking, but if you're not going to be doing that in the first place (like myself), it doesn't really matter. |

Intel Core i5-3570 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:As usual included heatsink fans by Intel suck
Pros:Fast CPU, Cost Efficient Comment:
Bought this for a $600 gaming build for a buddy. Workingg greater than expected and performing exactly as I'd hoped (I wanted something to compete with the i7-920).Obviously my review doesn't mean much but I'd liek to take this time to suggest you look at benchmarks! Google benchmarks, compare CPUs and find one that's good for you. This one happened to be the best price/performance at the time! It migth not be when you read this! |

Cons:None that I am aware of.
Pros:Great price tagWorks perfectly for most games Comment:
Purchased the i5-3570k for my first rig and this one is great for my 2nd rig that I have no intention of overclocking. |
This is a good cpu, fast, cool and effective. I would recommend this to others, but it is not for budget builds. Buy it if you making a gaming computer.
