Cons:None
Pros:- Reviews are accurate, very powerful 4 core CPU. Comment:
I haven't run into any problems with this CPU yet. It's fast and furious. I can't mark it down for only having 4 cores, I bought a 4 core CPU. If you want to be able to do heavy multi-tasking, then get yourself an i7.However, I was able to have a modern game open in the background running at 33% CPU load without noticing any slowdown in windows. |

Pros:amazing cpu. very powerful. Huge upgrade for me, as i upgraded from a 10 year old computer. Just super fast and responsive. Comment:
Great cpu all around, overclockable if needed in the future, which is why i picked it. Little pricey, but you get what you pay for and i just find intel to be the better brand when it comes to cpu's. Just try to get it on sale if you can, and you won't be disappointed. |

Cons:- No hyperthreading.
Pros:- Intel's on-board graphics is awesome.- Efficient power consumption.- Supports overclocking. Comment:
I've been sticking with Intel since they released the market leading HD3000 on-board graphics with Sandybridge. For a non-gamer like me, having on-board LAN, audio and graphics is great because it saves the PC costs as well as improves air circulation in the case. Win-win. |

Cons:none
Pros:fast, cool, lots of drivers and utilities Comment:
This CPU is great for anything I throw at it. Most of my programs run twice as fast as they did on my old FX 6200 Series processor and the stock cooler is actually of quite decent quality and comes with thermal paste pre-applied. Solid product from Intel, as always. |

I received this in the mail about a week ago and it's fantastic. I have no complaints at all. It overclocked to 4.2 Ghz with ease, and stays below 60 degrees with the stock cooler. You really can't go wrong with this product. |

Cons:None
Pros:FastRuns CoolGood value Comment:
Upgraded to this from a Q6600 overclocked to 3.6ghz.Motherboard finally failed time to get with the times. Processor has a Very noticeable improvement in general performance and gaming. Applications load much faster and games do not lag vs. with Q6600Processor at stock speeds has nearly the same frequency as previous overclocked Q6600 but runs way cooler, uses less power and to top it off has turbo boost with even higher frequencies.Awesome upgrade would recommend to any one looking to upgrade from an older platform but does want to spend the additional or does need an I7 with hyper threading. |

Cons:- Stock heatsink installation isn't great- Stock fan can be quite annoying under load
Pros:+ Extremely fast+ Devil's Canyon has much lower temps than original Haswell and Ivy Bridge CPUs Comment:
The performance of this processor is incredible. I was really hesitant to spend this much on the CPU as the internet seems to be a big fan of AMD processors and everywhere I went people told me I was wasting my money by getting the Intel Core i5... well, no regrets!General computing is much snappier - programs open quicker, there are less freezes and hiccups, computer boots faster, web pages load in full screen faster, and games perform phenomenally!I highly recommend this processor for anyone looking for an upgrade that'll last for years... especially with DirectX 12 around the corner, this CPU isn't going to be a bottleneck in gaming for a very long time.Battlefield 4 - 1920x1080, medium settings:70-100 fps as infantry in 64p servers110-160 fps in vehicles in 64p serversBattlefield 3 - 1920x1080, high settings:65-150 fps as infantry in 64p servers80-200 fps in vehicles in 64p serversWorld of Warcraft - 1920x1080, good-high settings:90-120 fps out in the world60-90 fps in battlegrounds, dungeons50-90 fps in raidsSPECS:Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (stock)Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI Motherboard8GB 2x4 G.Skill Ripjaws 1600MHzEVGA GeForce GTX 560 1GB h 850MHzWindows 8.1 Pro 64-bit |

Bought this with the ASUS Z97-Pro (wi-fi AC). I'm using a tower cooler and was able to OC this beast to 4.7GHz stable on air cooling. The chip never reached 75C in stress testing.Performance is out of this world. |

Cons:Non so far
Pros:Quick, runs cool. energy efficient. Supposed to have better heat disapation than the 4670K. Comment:
Bought this processor in a bundle along with an ASUS Maximus VII Hero Z97 MB. After some initial issues with the MB and great service from NCIX on an exchange I am up and running and very pleased with the system's performanc. Only time will tell whether the system will continue to perform this well over the long haul. |
Bought this to finally switch back to intel from an 1100T. This processor is way faster by far. Very happy with it.
