One of Intel's best products!
Comment:
The new I5 quad is definitely a homerun for those of us who are just now getting into the quadcore waters, its powerful in many ways, in some cases it can match its big brother I7 even though it doesn't have all the goodies of the I7, in short this is a lean, mean cpu for a good price.

Put this in my new rig over the weekend. the MSI GD80 OC for n00bs button immediately took it up to 3.36ghz without battign an eye. I toned it down to 3.0. with the Noctua SE2 cooler on there. everything is running smooth and cool.

Great performance
Comment:
I bought this replacing an AMD Athlon x2 64 3800. Dropped it into an DP55SB Mobo and so far I am very pleased at the outcome. Surfing the net is 3-4 times faster and running Win 7 is faster than running X P with my old setup.

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:Stock fan

Pros:PerformanceRuns coolPrice
Comment:
I bought this CPU for my new gaming/main computer. Given the temperatures people were getting with the stock fan, I opted for the Coolermaster Hyper 212. I have this running at 3.2ghz (160x20) stable with idle temperatures at low 30's and load temperatures at low 40's. The performance of this chip is incredible, especially for the price. All I can say is that AMD is in trouble when it comes to their high-end line because this smokes anything they offer. My i5 750 will last me for a long time...which is a nice thought given I didn't have to break the bank for it.

You won't be disappointed by this quad core.
Comment:
This thing rips on my Asus P7p55D Pro and Corsair dominator ddr3 4 gigs. I have no regrets about going 1156 because honestly this beats the i7 920 in many benchmarks and I don't care for future 6 core processors. The only difference between this and the i7 860 is that hyperthreading is disabled, lack of triple channel memory support, and a good hundreds bucks more for very small performance gains. No regrets on the whole. Buy it if you're in the market for getting a quad core and you're on a budget, now's the perfect time.

I bought this for my new I5 build, and paired it with a gigabyte motherboard that was roughly 90 CAD on sale, everything has been working good so far.

Best for the Money
Comment:
Great processor - been running in my new system now for about a month. It's been said in other reviews and I agree, if you're on a budget - go with this processor and put a few extra $$ in graphics. Install is very easy - just line up pin 1 and drop it in and close the lid. Much easier than some of the older processors.

Great Processor
Comment:
Works beautiful once everything is put together. Better than any Core 2s out there, only prob is how much it REALLY costs to upgrade to a quad core. Obviously need a new motherboard, plus DDR3 ram which is alot more expensive than DDR2, but aside from that, this product itself is amazing. Haven't found a program that maxes it yet :P

Cons:None yet^^

Pros:Nice and fastAffordable
Comment:
Purchased for my new gaming pc, haven't bothered with overclocking yet. It runs pretty cool just with the stock cooler. I was used to an e6600 so I definitely noticed a huge difference after I put this pc together. I still find myself sitting and letting programs install before I remember "Oh, I have a nice quad core now. I can play a game while this installs." Couldn't be happier with the cpu.

Cons:Stock cooler is junk.

Pros:Great price to performance ratio
Comment:
This is probably the sweet spot for processors in terms of price to performance ratio. Just plan on spending more, as usual, for a better cooler if you plan on overclocking.

Cons:None so far

Pros:Affordable, Fast CPU, Easy to overclock
Comment:
I'm very happy with my i5 750. It is affordable to almost everyone. CPU is very fast for its price. Very easy to overclock too. Stock heat sink is awful so I replaced it with a cooler master hyper 212 plus heat sink. Windows 7 gives the processor's stock speed a rating of 7.3 out of 7.9

Cons:None

Pros:Very FastDoesn't Heat UpOverclocks Very WellAffordable..
Comment:
Would highly recommend getting this, it actually performs better then Phenom II and is in about the same price range.. so Intel is def in the lead now considering price + performance ratio.. Overclocks very well! I've seen most people getting it 4GHZ stable on air.. but I'd have to say the stock cooler included is tiny!! so you won't really be able to overclock much at all with the stock cooler..
