Cons:
None that I can find
Pros: Low Temps at OC'd Speeds w/ 100% Stress TestingGreat Overclocker - A few clicks gets you 4.7Ghz, a little more tweeking gets you to 5.0Ghz Comment:
It's been a short time that I've had this CPU, but I've tried to throw everything I have at it over the past few days after it's initial setup, and it will not quit. It runs at 58-66 Degree's Celcius with a full 100% load at 5.0 Ghz and a cool 29-32 Degrees Celcius when mostly Idle. (Speedstepping disabled) I'm very happy with my choice to purchase this CPU in combo with my Asus Sabertooth. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:
- A better heatsink/fan would be nice, but the stock one is adequate.
Pros: - Excellent price/speed ratio.- Intel HD Graphics- ZOMG11! FAST! Comment:
I upgraded to this from a single core 1.86Ghz Pentium M. Needless to say, this is so much of an improvement that I'm having a hard time maxing out the processor. I can't wait to do some video editing or something and really give it a workout. The processor runs relatively cool: 24.5C at idle and 65.5C under load, with an additional rear exhaust fan on the case. However, I've heard that third-party cooling devices can drop the load temperature by 10 degrees or more. |

The new Sandy Bridge CPUS are simply amazing; not only is this CPU unbelievably fast, the windows experience rating gives it a 7.9 (the highest possible atm). However, this is a rather expensive product. |

Pros: I just put this thing together. To those with the i7 920/930/950, no need to upgrade to the i7 2600k. Comment:

Cons:

Pros: Very fastEasy to overclockCool running Comment:
I went from an Athlon 64 5200+ to this, obviously a huge upgrade for me, with the performance to match. Very fast, cool running chip that's very easy to overclock, I've got it running at 4GHz on the stock cooler at 1.190V and my temps just hit 70°C. Not too bad, but will be much better once I get my hands on an aftermarket cooler.Definitely recommended! |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:
Not sure if it was wroth the extra $80 for the Hyper-Threading.
Pros: Fast.Easy-peasy overclocking Comment:
Coming from a q9550 running at 3.4ghz. It did SuperPi to 1M in 14 seconds. This one, at stock 3.4ghz did it in 10 seconds. Going to 4.5ghz does it in 8 seconds.Running it on a Gigabyte P67A-UD5-B3 and cooled with a Noctua NH-U12P se2. With 2 fans on low-voltage power cables. With the low-noise voltage reducers in the Noctua, I'm right now stressing the cores at 4.5ghz, automatic voltage of 1.35v, and the highest it has gone is to 70c on 3 of the 4 cores. Using the Noctua thermal paste. Stable, thus far.Pretty impressed, considering I haven't even touched the vcore, unsettled thermal paste, and not having my cooler fans running at max speed.I'll likely try to push it further after the thermal paste bakes in a bit, and whenever i get around to opening my case again.THough now, I'm not sure if it was worth the extra cash to get the 2600k with the Hyper-Threading. It can apparently be detrimental to gaming performance, but it should come in handy when I'm re-encoding videos or Blu-Rays.I am glad i hopped on the 32nm i7 train after the fudged 1155 motherboard debacle. |

The intel Heatsink
Pros: OC'ble, fast Comment:
This CPU is very great. I have 2 of them. Very easy to OC. Temp are very cool when cooling with a Noctua DH14.Everyone know that intel heatsink isn't great.I have two of them folding at 4.7Ghz and temp never goes up more than 60c. Voltage are about 1.33v, which i think is great.Don't forget to PM, you can easily find it for 299.99$ |

Easily goes to 4.5ghz with only a multiplier change (ASUS P8P67 mb). Megahalem sitting on top with push pull fans. Max's out at 61C on a prime95 load after a couple of hours. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:
the crappy Cooler and mounting system
Pros: Speed,hypertreading,Overclockability Comment:
Bought this with a P8P67 Deluxe Asus mobo and G.SKILL F3-12800CL8D-4GBRM Ripjaws RAM.The chip is as advertised and reviewed on numerous forums. It easily overclocked to 4.4 ..103x43 without a single Voltage increase....BUT the temps shot up very quickly under prime 95 and I was forced to shut it down. After removing the cooler and cleaning off the thermal paste...re-applying the paste and reseating the cooler( a very very frustrating job..the idiot who came up with this system should be shot)The BIOS reported higher temp then I was used to seeing under Core2 duo and again Prime 95 brought it up quickly and very very close to cutoff point. So I changed to an aftermarket cooler with a bolt thru system and the temps in idle are 29 and under prime 95 they still shoot up quickly but no where near its 96 celsius cutoff point. |

Pros: - FAST- overclocks like a champ- low temps under load- can keep up with more expensive cpus Comment:
like others have said this is one fast intel cpu. provided you have all the necessary components that can supply it the power and stability it needs, you can overclock the heck out of it. great temps under load provided you use a good aftermarket cooler and not the stock cooler. multitasking in windows 7 is simply a pleasure now. can't recommend this enough. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:
Overclocked temperature until I got liquid cooling.
Pros: SpeedReliabiltyIdle temperature Comment:
Bought this with the new asus mobo as a bundle in the march madness sale, this upgrade was phenomenal and I sure as heck am never going back to AMD. The only downside was I had to get liquid cooling for when I crank everything to max, and then livestream it haha its not even a bit hard on the cpu though, just makes it really hot, which is no longer an issue because of the new cooling. I strongly suggest this if you're looking to not have to upgrade your computer for another 5+ years most likely. |

I got this CPU on sale for 300$ and I can't start to say how fast it is, I can run everything I want maxed out with it (and a GTX 570)!! I haven't had time to overclock it yet, but i heard they are quite good at it. Very satisfied of my purchase! I would recommend this CPU to anyone who has enough money to buy it! |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:
Absolutely none.
Pros: -Got it on sale for $309.99. Fantastic price for what this chip offers. UNLOCKED FOR UNDER $1000!!!!-Totally destroys the Q9650 it replaced in raw speed, temps, features and overclockability.-Amazing to have a quad core at 32nm which Hyperthreading, an integrated memory controller and all the latest instruction sets.-Overclocks extremely easily while remaining stable and cool running. Comment:
I have not pushed this chip nearly as far as I am sure it can go, but hitting 4ghz was done with one simple multiplier change at stock voltage. Runs very cool and is extremely quick. This is my first Intel chip with an integrated memory controller. The snappiness brings back memories of my old AMD X2 based system which had this when Intel didn't. The Hyperthreading aspect is also new to me and for an additional performance boost I won't complain. This chip popped right into my Asus P8P67 board, powered up and posted without issue. Very nice speed in everything I do. Paired with 8GB of low latency ram and an SSD drive and you are ready to roll for quite some time. I look forward to pushing this chip a little further in the near future. I am hoping for 4.5-4.6 which I will be quite happy with. Anything else is a bonus. If you want an extremely speedy system without breaking the bank, a P67 based board with this chip is the ONLY recommendation out as of this writing. |

Fastest Sandy Bridge CPU out there. Is it worth the extra hundred dollars over the i5 2500K? Depends on the user. For me, it's been great and can easily hit 4.6GHz if not higher (still testing).
