Cons:

Pros: - Hight performance CPU- Overclocks very well and stays cool- Great value for the price Comment:
Running it at a slight overclock of 4.2 Ghz without any voltage changes and it barely reaches 58°C at fool load. At idle, it stays at 20°C. The performance is just amazing. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:
stupid chipset recall was annoying
Pros: fast and powerful for the priceeasy to overclock Comment:
very good CPU power and speed for the price. essentially comparable to older cpus at thousand dollar range. just the chipset problem that needed recall was an annoying part, but new mobo came out now so it shouldnt be an issue. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:
nothing
Pros: everything, easy OC, low temps/volts Comment:
Ok, so have had this with an asus p8p67 pro and its running real nice r4.8 on a A70 constantly using all threads as i fold 24/7 with it also aside from gaming. It dosent require high voltages and runls at 77 under load aside from the chipset issue these cpu's will be lonely on the shelves... lolIm kinda glad i got my stuff when i did. so over all wicked upgrade coming from a q6600 3.4 some may not use all threads so if your not going to the 2500k is fine. |

Cons:

Pros: FastCoolEasy to OC Comment:
What a great processor. Best I have ever had. So easy to overclock too. Got it stable at 4.7GHz q1.385 Vcore and temps averaging below 70 for the most part on air, maxing out at 77 with prime95 and a whole bunch of other torture/stability tests running. Getting a Physics Score of 10108 in 3DMARK11, QUITE REMARKABLE. |

Cons:
none so far.
Pros: Very Fast, overclockable, runs cool Comment:
Very happy so far with the chip... can't say the same about the chipset (sata 2 degredation issue). I haven't done much with it yet. Running on a system the will render 3d cat scans. Did some benchmarking and got some amazing scores. Currently running on air at a conservative 4.2Ghz. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:
- expensive- have to pay extra to get the K chip
Pros: - overclocks easily- fast- uses less energy than old design- lower temps Comment:
This chip overclocks easily using p8p67 pro board using watercooling. I've had it over 5ghz with using the asus auto tune. I'm currently using the chip at 4.7ghz for everyday use and the temps are mid to high 60s at 1.32volts. Very manageable. I'm quite happy with the speed and quality of the chip, would recommend. |

Cons:

Pros: Very powerful, great quality/price compared to other cpu Comment:
Great cpu, very powerful and costs less then the 975 and is way more powerful! great upgrade! only problem is that intel just put a recal for its sandy bridge chipset on the motherboards that can cause sata2 3.0gbs performance drop over time... but still worth it! |

Pros: Price:performanceOC abilityMore than I need Comment:
This thing is amazing, I upgraded from a E6750 w 3.6GHz this thing doesn't even break a sweat when trying to do anything I throw at it. Ive managed to get it too 4.9GHz w 1.35V and 65C stable under load on AIR (dont need it that fast). I would recommend this thing to anyone that wants an amazing CPU with HT that costs nothing compaired to similar counter parts that were selling a month ago! |

Cons:
- It doesn't have more cores? Hah... there really are no cons here
Pros: - Fast- Runs cool- Overclocks well- Beats the competing Intel 980x $1k processor in most applications, at almost a third the price Comment:
The Intel i7 2600k chip is an extremely good buy. I've never been this satisfied with a hardware purchase before. |

Cons:
Too easy to overclock
Pros: Fast, runs very cool, great overclocker Comment:
There really is nothing at this point in time to compare the price/performance of the Sandy Bridge cpu's to. This currently is the top of the line offering, equipped with turbo, hyper threading and an unlocked multiplier. |

Pros: Kills AMD and LGA1156 f this price Comment:
Upgrading from C2D E8400 and I am glad I hold out for this instead of LGA1156 stuff. 2600k overclocks like a beast. 5ghz on air? Forget everything else, Sandy Bridge K series is "THE CPU" to get. |

Pros: -Power-Price Comment:
Got this running with a ASUS P8P67 Deluxe. It came with a heatsink/fan that I never used. I am using a Corsair H70, 29C at idle and 65-70 under full load. Was able to get over 4.7GHz running stable for a few hours. I am planning on pushing it a little more in the future, but I am very happy with it so far! And how can you beet this price!?! Game over AMD... |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:
-Have to purchase new 1155 Motherboard (but they are all so nice except they only support dual channel RAM
Pros: -Best bang for the buck-Easy OC especially with new Motherboards Comment:
Reviews say it comapres to i7-980X for about 1/3rd of the price. The box is smaller than 1366 i7 series cpus not used to that. Comes with Included intel heatsink/fan. Replaced that with water cooling. I recommend upgrading if you're coming from 1156 socket cpus or 1366 i7-930 and under. Uses only 95W compared to 130W. I ran it at 4.6Ghz easily stable but I put it on stock because I only use about 14% of its power on stock alone. The i5-2500k is cheaper but I got this i7-2600kPlus Asus P67 Pro combo instore price for $499 can't beat that.Unless you actually need this much cpu power. It might be a good idea to wait for Bulldozer, 2011 socket or ivy bridge. |
