Intel Core i7 4770K Unlocked Quad Core 3.5GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 8MB Cache Retail
Cons:It does get a bit toasty for such a small CPU. I Swiftech liquid unit on mine.
Pros:Overclocks Well Great for GamingPrice is good Comment:
I managed to get an OC of 4.3 with only 1.2 volts (completely stable after testing). Intel is doing a great job with these chips. What more is there to say. I'm still waiting for my quantum computer.... |

Intel Core i7 4770K Unlocked Quad Core 3.5GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 8MB Cache Retail
Cons:-A little trickier to OC.-At 22nm, it's a little harder to dissipate heat, so better cooler is suggested.
Pros:-Really good performance.-Lots of power-saving options (if that's what you're into). Comment:
Really impressed by this CPU. My first "desktop" i7. With a 4.5GHz OC, I score above the 3930K 6-cores in Passmark. There is more into it than Sandy-bridge to OC (I passed on IVY-gen). Besides that, newer, better IPC, lots of options and good new features on socket 1150 mobos! |

Intel Core i7 4770K Unlocked Quad Core 3.5GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 8MB Cache Retail
Cons:none yet
Pros:You can expect great things out of this cpu Comment:
I bought this cpu for a new pc build as an upgrade from my laptop which has been really slowing me down and I have heard a lot of good things about this cpu. I plan on overclocking it a bit too but if you dont plan on overclocking your cpu buy the i7 4770 because its cheaper than the i7 4770k |

Intel Core i7 4770K Unlocked Quad Core 3.5GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 8MB Cache Retail
Cons:Has heating issues, expensive
Pros:fast, energy efficient, Comment:
If you're building a new system I would definitely go with this chip over the previous gens. If you're upgrading from the 2600K or 3770K I would wait to see what the next gen has to offer as there isn't enough difference in performance to justify putting out another $400. If you are planning on overclocking this chip more than a modest amount I would recommend water cooling or extreme air cooling. This chip runs hot when overclocked. |

Intel Core i7 4770K Unlocked Quad Core 3.5GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 8MB Cache Retail
Cons:- Pretty expensive
Pros:- Very fast- Very power efficient Comment:
What can I say, Intel makes great processors, and their new Haswell line is very impressive. It's a lot more power efficient then Ivy Bridge so I find when just doing normal computer, my rig uses hardly any power. |

Intel Core i7 4770K Unlocked Quad Core 3.5GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 8MB Cache Retail
Cons:- Produces alot of heat
Pros:- Very Fast- Good overclocking Comment:
I bought this as an upgrade over an E5200 and I'm very glad I put down the money for this. Most games will only put about 30% load on the CPU.With a Noctua NH-C12P the processor will peak at around 90°C with 100% CPU load at 4.5 GHZ. It can go to 4.6 easily but it approaches 100°C with my cooler. I'm using an ASUS Maximus VI Hero with this CPU.If you're upgrading from an old CPU then definitely get this. |

Intel Core i7 4770K Unlocked Quad Core 3.5GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 8MB Cache Retail
Cons:...Intel used to be too pricey... not anymore, so no cons as of yet.
Pros:Fast at stock 3.5Ghz but auto OC'd to 4.5Ghz without a hiccup.Price!Runs fairly cool, I bought a water cooler for it, but not needed at stock clock. Comment:
I used to swear by AMD, while not a brute force powerful as Intel they have always done what I asked of them with a small delay. Having given up my AMD to try the 4770k I have to shake my head and wonder what I was thinking for so long. AMD is still a great processor, but they have a hard time with the raw power of this chip. Combined with a fast HD or in my case a SSD there is virtually no wait time for anything. If you are thinking of switching, think no more.. just do it. |

Intel Core i7 4770K Unlocked Quad Core 3.5GHZ Processor LGA1150 Haswell 8MB Cache Retail
Cons:Barely 10% better than the 3770kRuns Warm, Especially at higher clocks, Make sure to have an upgraded heatsink. Needs new Z87 Chipset, (LGA 1150)
Pros:NewRuns nice Comment:
Good but not the upgrade at all from a 3770/3770k. I bought it becasue i owned the 3770, and wanted the overclock. This did mean i needed a new board, but theres something about the latest and greatest. |

Cons:Does not worth to change from 2600K or 3770K
Pros:Very good cpu Comment:
Very happy so far , it runs at low temperature and very stable under overclock ( I just set XMP on with 2133 mhz ram and the cpu is running l 4.3 Ghz automatically) |

Cons:Overclocking headroom
Pros:Fast, cool, unlocked Comment:
Basically, buy this instead of the 2700k or 3770k if you are buying a new computer now. However, if you already own a 2700k or 3770k, don't bother upgrading (unless you are like me, and upgrade all the time for no reason). It's a great little chip, but not leaps and bounds above the previous generations. |
Glad I chose an i7 over the i5, system is blazing fast. Can't wait to push it to the limits in BF4.Easy installation as always.i7 4770kAsus HeroKingston Hyper Beast 2133Plextor 256 m5 Pro ExtremeSystem running like the beast it isLove NCIX
