You need this NIC in your system if you stream media via Windows Homegroup. For the price, they're practically giving it away. I've never had an issue with it and have installed one in every PC build I've ever done.

Not the Low Profile Bracket version. The PWLA8391GTLBLK product is EOL and NCIX doesn't carry the correct version of it. I guess they're just getting rid of what stock they have. It works great otherwise.I didn't need two of the same since I purchased the same product under a different SKU, so I got a refund no problem.

I didn't buy this one at NCIX as I needed it immediately.When I purchased it, I didn't even realize it was low profile, thank god I had an old 3com Ethernet card that had the same layout but full size. The worst about this card was that the bracket wasn't hold in place with screws but with hard metal plied into screw holes on the PCB, making it a pain to remove it without breaking the whole thing. windows 7 recognized the card immediately and installed it just fine. No new drivers are available from intel.

Buyer beware - The product comes with a full sized PCI bracket. No low profile bracket was included. When I e-mail my rep about it, he said "Looks like the OEM version do not come with low profile bracket."Good Intel network card. But not really low profile.
