Intel Network 7260.HMWWB WiFi WIRELESS-AC 7260 H/T Dual Band 2X2 AC+BLUETOOTH HMC Brown Box
Cons:May not work with all laptops, only 2 connection for antennas
Pros:Works well, connections speed as advertised, compatibility, great price. Comment:
Purchased this for an asus g53sx and a Toshiba qosimo laptops to get ac speeds to a new asus 68u router. Worked like a charm for both laptops. Drivers must be manually downloaded as windows 7 did not recognise the device even when internet connection was made avail through lan connection. Other than that, technically the device works great. Connects at max rated speed when laptop is right beside router... other laptop achieves about 760-650 with a fireplace in the way. Have not done extensive range tests with it, however speeds will change depending on the laptop model. Device works flawlessly and connection is stable on both laptops. Would've been nice if it was a 3x3 or better but the 2x2 ac speed is far better than any N wireless I've used. |

Intel Network 7260.HMWWB WiFi WIRELESS-AC 7260 H/T Dual Band 2X2 AC+BLUETOOTH HMC Brown Box
Cons:not many that I can think of
Pros:much better than most stock wifi cards by intel (Centrino cards) Comment:
Got this to put in a Intel NUC,it works well and doesn't have the drop issues the lower end Intel cards have. Comes with bluetooth as well which is a bonus. |
Bought this card to replace the Atheros card in my ASUS N550-JV. The difference is astonishing! I come from weak wifi, slow speed, to breaking fast WIFI! The original card was only able to go up to 150mbps on 40hz channel on 2.4ghz, no dual-channel support. Now I can reach 300 mbps steady and solid everywhere in my house on both 2.4 or 5ghz network.Cheap upgrade that make a big difference!
