For a budget PC you can't get much better. I used this in my most recent build and was impressed considering the price. It is by no means a high end CPU, but for the price paid you will get a nice CPU that handles most tasks.

I needed a new processor for an affordable build for my father. This CPU was cheap and it was perfect since it runs normal programs fast and the new computer won't be playing any games.

Great all around. I guess it's not the newest one around, but hey, this thing is cheap as dirt and won't die on you easily! I have it on my gaming computer and would recommend!

I bought this for use in an Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L MB. It runs perfect and installed without any issues. It has been up and running 24/7 in a commercial kiosk without any heat build up.

I bought this CPU for a client who needed a basic system. It works great, but I haven't try to overclock it.

i guess this is probably the best pound or pound, or Mhz for Mhz cpu out there. Highly recommend this cpu to anyone wanting to upgrade without breaking the bank. Excellent for image processing, video trans-coding and all around gaming. Pair it up with good quality ram or overclocking and sink one to one ratio with FSB to unleash the beast.

This thing is lightening fast and really cool running. I have a graphics shop and regularly process images over 4'x8' at 300dpi with this machine and it never lags a bit! I'm able to continue drawing in Photoshop while RIPing the large images in the background with no trouble!

Had a bit of trouble installing fan, instructiosn could have been a bit more clear. Maybe some words as well as pictures. Works great, runs cool and I'm very happy.

Easy to install, with no problems, but I ordered a different cooling fan as the one included is a bit hard to mount.

for a dual core its good i got this with a barebone so I had no choice, its pretty fast for a dual core, no errors what so ever, easy install, 5 stars for performance because its a dual, and its good for that. Buy it for a not expensive fast dual, its worth it!

Bought in combo with an Asus mb and 4 gb of matched memory. Lightning fast . I thought I would have some issues with 64 bit , but not really. Only one older ink jet did not have a 64 bit driver. Everything else works great. Instant screen changes now. Amazing.

works good as usual. no problems for me. I installed my cpu fan before mounting the motherboard into the case. Easier to make sure it's properly secured that way.

Not crazy about the CPU fan and the way it attached. Gave me a bit of grief and I do this for a living. Did work the CPU itself is fine.
