Intel Pentium G850 2.9GHz LGA 1155 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Not for gaming.
Pros:Fast and inexpensive. Stock cooler is quiet and low-profile. Performance very close to an i3-2120 thanks to DDR3-1333 support. Comment:
If you're looking for a basic, cost-effective processor this is a solid value. I use the G850 all the time in office desktops. The included OEM cooler is small and very quiet, does the job just fine for about 40% less cash than the more mainstream-oriented i3 2120.For an office machine where gaming is not a factor, this is the ideal chip and price point since its DDR3-1333 support gives it a noticeable speed boost over the cheaper G530 and G620. |

my little one processor that has a great can be a hard worker |
I bought this chip for a small HTPC. It serve's files like a champ, and is a fast Minecraft server. I paired it with a GT 430 graphics card, so I am not sure how the integrated GPU would handle 1080p.I PM'd this CPU for $64.00 making it an amazing deal at this performance level.
