Far more than enough for HD media playback and Flash content material.800 Mhz -Great for overclocker. (I don't want to OC yet).Cool sufficient to run on silent. Power Provide Fan operating at min. speed, and my two yrs. old stock clever CPU fan running at 1000 rpm most of the time. No other fans necessary. CPU temp idle @ 32C & max C. The only noise coming from the Pc is the challenging drive. I am impressed. Note: not all Pc case is suitable for silent setup. None. Pc energy consumption is substantially much better than past CPUs but nonetheless higher in my book. Measured at PSU finish, Idle @ 60Watts and Complete load @ 93Watts. Hopefully, in the near future, Intel / AMD can come up with a a lot more efficient design. |

Works as replacement for 65nm Conroe E2160 @ 1.80GHz with 1MB L2 in a Dell Inspiron 530S with a Foxconn G33M02 Rev A01 Motherboard and BIOS version 1..15. BIOS and Windows recognize 3GHz clock and 2MB cache. Intel supplied heatsink and fan are inferior to the existing Dell heatsink and fan. If applied as an upgrade chip, make certain you have thermal compound to use if you preserve the existing heatsink/fan. The Intel boxed processors come with compound preapplied to their heatsink/fan unit (not a small tube of compound to apply). |

CPU functions the way it is supposed to. Priced like a common Intel. The heat sink mounting clips are HORRIBLE! You seriously have to push down Challenging to get them to snap into place. I feared damaging the motherboard. There was no true good click really feel on a couple to be Certain they had been secured into place. If one of those cheap plastic clips pops out, the CPU is going to FRY!!! Also since of the style of mounting, there is no way to use a back plate to retain the MB from flexing. The MB had a significant curve under the CPU from the spring pressure! I commonly construct with AMD, but the customer requested Intel. AMD does a far superior job with their heat sink mounts. |

More quickly than the 2.20 Celeron single core it replaced. A lot faster Windows 7 boot and file access times. Calculation index rose from 4.9 to 6.4 and it was about a 15 minute install with the LGA 775 chipset. Easy as pie... tasty three. Ghz pie... My motherboard had a screw in style heatsink and fan assembly by Coolermaster, so the snap in style OE heatsink and fan assembly wouldn't function. No massive deal, as I just reused the old assembly. Bought a affordable 跟.00 Emachines ET1831-05 pc and whilst it does day to day stuff properly (as advertised) it was lacking in gaming functions for even severely outdated games. With the chip upgraded, as effectively as the power provide, all I have to do is add a video card to replace the onboard (garbage) video chipset and then I ought to be in a position to do some (reasonably)critical gaming. Total invested: Less than 躔. |

Quick, works, very good adequate for extremely low level computers. The heatsink sucks, and the processor gets up to 90C just running regular tasks. I have increased airflow by means of the case as greatest as achievable, and it now sticks around 75C, still too hot for my liking. If you're looking for a spending budget pc or a laptop or computer that won't run as well several tough tasks then this is for you. Other then that, I will buy an additional processor next time. |

Nice and shiny, will be nicer as soon as I can use it. Makes a good paperweight in supplied box with heatsink. ECS 945GCT-M3 board does not help this processor, now I ought to seek a board that does with the exact same memory help. Maybe Intel could discover from AMD and have far better socket compatibility. A LG775 processor should work in all Socket 775 kinda like How socket A has evolved. |

Speed is great and no heat concerns so far. Personal computer is really rapid compared to the old P4 two.48 CPU. I have never ever liked heat sinks that snap in holes on MB. Wish they came with screw on kits. I invest in other heat sink to use instead. |

Intel - Processors Box Pentium DC E5700 3GHZ 2MB LGA775
Cons:For this price, it hard to complain.
Pros:Core 2 still offers great performance. Got for kids upgrade from AMD X2 4200. Haven't tested OCing yet, but expect to do as well as my E4500 from several years back. Comment:
Got for kids upgrade, with the limited supply of 775 motherboards (G31/G41), there isn't too much to get excited about. Will keep the kids going for a couple years. |

This CPU was affordable, significantly far better than my old one, shipped in two days and worked on my Vostro 200 with an LGA 775 socket. Wasn't no cost and a guy didn't come to my home to install it for me for free.;) (In other words, there are no cons!) Spent ๖ dollars rather of 躔. Works wonderful on my Linux box. |

- Rapidly- 65W (great power/performance as properly)- no need to have to go to quad core/i3/i5/etc. for most users presently The heat sink/fan is a bit bulky. I have this chip on a Zotac GF9300 mini itx board with 8GB memory and a 128GB Kingston SSD for a low power/headless media server on my LAN. I required much more horsepower to stream and do media transcoding on the fly (PlayOn). CPU is performing a incredibly excellent job. With the SSD Win 7 boot time is 10 to 15 seconds tops.I was determined to acquire a 65W Intel CPU in the 5xxxǜxxx class. I was carefully reviewing all the processors, their prices, and their Passmark performance rankings. This CPU, at the price I purchased at, was the best of all of them price/performancewise in this category. |

Picked this up in a combo for a buddy's spending budget create. Works fine, but it's at the moment in a program that isn't taxed really considerably at all. Had some heat issues. I'm not a fan of the supplied heat sink, but am nonetheless under the belief that it has to be at lease adequate. Re seated with some artic silver to no effect. Nevertheless, I believe the "auto" voltage setting in my motherboard was giving his a small too significantly. I manually dropped the setting down and the temps, although nonetheless a small warmer than I'm utilised to, are manageable and the CPU is still stable. |

I've had a few of these in the past as nicely. They run fantastic, super quickly. No difficulties with the CPU itself. Excellent scores on all the test programs I run too. I still hate the new heatsink style. For one, the little clip design is seriously dumb. (the very best way to do it is to install the CPU and heatsink Prior to installing the motherboard to the case, that way you have far more leverage and stop the motherboard from bending simpler). Two, the open fan blades seriously aren't protected quite nicely, I had one concern with the heatsink wires getting in the way of the fan blade (had to tie them back) one more time from case movement some other wires got in the way. If you use this heatsink be sure to use a lot of cable ties to keep the wires out of the fan. As far as how hot it gets, personally I don't check to see how hot it gets, as long as it's running at full speed without having errors and doesn't blow out don't be so concerned about the temperature. I'd prefer to give it a 4.fiveǛ the CPU is wonderful, heatsink works but could be a better design. |

Intel - Processors Box Pentium DC E5700 3GHZ 2MB LGA775
Cons:
-Low cache-Outdated socket
Pros: -Dual core-High multiplier Comment:
A nice addition to a socket 775 build looking for a bit more umph. Overclocks very nicely with a high multiplier and low native frequency: good value for the money. |
Works fine. No fan issues. Not significantly more quickly than dual-core Celeron two.6's that I was employing. Not worth the cost distinction.
