Pros: Overclocking to 3.68 stable. Runs all my games even BC2. And o 3.68 it gets a lot more FPS in game. |

Just intalled this and it runs cool... Added - Kingston HyperX 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-1066 PC2-8500 5-5-5-15 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit to go with it but right now I see 20C. Seen it go up to 32 gaming and high def display.Runny heatsick and fan came with it. Debated if I should clean and repaste but I need not to. Very happy. I prevouly had a pentium 830 that ran very hot.... It's works pretty good for the buck. |

Bought this to replace an old Pentium D805 since I didn't want to fork money for a i5/i7 CPU AND a motherborad. Works great and stable at about 27~30 degrees on a hot summer day at 3.5GHzGreat for a budget build and still be able to do some light gaming and processor intensive work.Bad thing is that I lost a nice heater at my feet in winter. |

I purchased two these for the office. Both computer builds would just shut down after 5-10 secs. I tried different ram, power supply, hard drive, heatsink.... Windows wouldn't install either and any mem tests would result in the systems turning off. I inspected the CPU more closely and realized that there was very minimal thermal grease. It didn't "spread" and was clumpy / hard.I scraped off what was there and replaced with my own. Re-seated the CPUs and heatsinks. Everything is now rock solid now. |

Bought this as a holder until some of the more mature 1155 processors come out. For the price at the time ($69.99) I couldn't pass it up. This will definitely be a step up from an Old Pentium D.You can price match this to $69.99 if you google it :P. |

Pros: Overclocks like a champ. Also the stock head sink makes a great paper weight. Comment:
If your looking for decent chip for a low end 775 system the E6500 is a great choice. I'm running it on a P5k SE so my overclocking ability is limited but I still managed to get it up to 3.6 stable. Temps are great, but i'm using an aftermarket CPU cooler. |

I bought this CPU to build a gaming system for my brother. For the price, it made quite a good deal, especially that it is capable of running HD videos, and even the latest games without much issues. The stock fan however was quite terrible, and idle temperatures where at 70C. I would recommend purchasing a quality CPU cooler such as the ones manufactured by NOCTUA. |

Got this CPU for a budget build, but so far it can handle anything I've thrown at it. It won't be as fast as a Core ix series, but it's terrific bang for the buck!The stock 2.93GHz runs well, but I've been able to overclock it to 3.5GHz with no problem using the included heatsink/fan. Windows 7 CPU Index of 6.7.At under $80, it's a great performer across the board, and pretty energy efficent as well. |

Good Processor after I finally bought another new motherboard as the one I ordered with it was (DOA MSI G31). I see the reviews on it and i am not the first one to get a DOA MSI G31. This processor exceeded my expectations - my computer does everything very quickly and without problems. Only negative is the fan that is included - while that saved me some money because I did not have to buy a seperate fan, I am not real sure it is doing all that is needed and did not like the way it attaches to the motherboard. |

Replaced an old Pentium 4 2.66 Ghz single core and what a difference! I was trying to play Call of Duty World at War and it just wouldn't do it but when I installed this cpu, it amazed me at the speed that it loaded and how much more responsive the game was. You can't beat this site for value, price, or service. |

Anybody who is Overclocking this CPU with the stock heatsink has no brains. Please don't do this as it is a stupid idea. If you going to overclock, BUY a COOLER don't be cheap.
