Intel WiFi Link 6300 633AN.HMWWB Half Height Minicard Vpro Enabled Retail
Cons:No 802.11AC version yet - but that can't be held against this adaptor.
Pros:450Mb/s link-rate where supported, very fast WAN speeds versus other adaptors, no dropped connections to WAP, beats most of the much more expensive USB adaptors I have with external antennas. Virtualization technology, Intel quality. |

Intel WiFi Link 6300 633AN.HMWWB Half Height Minicard Vpro Enabled Retail
Cons:it doesnt have bluetooth
Pros:Support for 5Ghz N & A Comment:
bought this to replace the Centrino 2230 that came with my M18xR2 to use 5Ghz N & A bands. alot cheaper than the killer N dual band adapter dell was offering. lucky for me dell shipped my laptop with 3 antenna. so far the 5Ghz connection to my Western Digital N900 works great |

Intel WiFi Link 6300 633AN.HMWWB Half Height Minicard Vpro Enabled Retail
Cons:No bluetooth
Pros:Great speed, stability and features Comment:
Bought this to replace the crappy Atheros Wifi/Bluetooth combo in my Asus G74SX. This Intel model doesn't have bluetooth but NCIX didn't have the bluetooth combo version in stock and ultimatelly I decided I don't really need bluetooth. Has support for 3 antennas which is great (even though my notebook only uses 2) Fantastic speed, stability (connection) and worth every penny. |

Intel WiFi Link 6300 633AN.HMWWB Half Height Minicard Vpro Enabled Retail
Cons:Requires a desktop adapter if that is the intended use.
Pros:Intel has very good networking technologyGood features Comment:
I do like to keep Intel networking cards if possible, as in my experience, they are the most reliable that I have used when compared with Realtek and D-Link. |
Swapped out an Intel Advanced-N card for this one, mainly to get the 450Mb/s link speed over the 300Mb/s I was limited to before. No issue at all with my Dell Studio 1458 laptop- popped out the old one and connected the cables to this one. Updated the drivers and I was set.For the price- worth the upgrade until half-height AC cards start coming out for laptops!
