This case is the perfect size for a proper mini-itx system. It allows sufficient airflow, and enough room for a full size optical drive, or a slim optical drive and 2 hdd's.I replaced the case fan with an Acrtic cooling fan as it was a little bit too loud. Now the computer is virtually silent!The build quality could use some work. The case isn't riveted together, so the parts interconnect. This makes the case feel flimsy when you have is open, and vibrations caused by the HDD and Optical drive travel though the entire case making it very loud. At one point my desk was shaking when i put a dvd in the computer. |
True meaning of a mini-itx case. I put a J&W Minix 780G board in here and this really has become a true HTPC. Looks stylish and airflow is surprizingly awesome. The placement of the 80mm fan sucked out hot air like a blow-dryer. LOW PROFILE CPU HEATSINK/FAN HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Factory included fans are CRAZY LOUD. Go get some ultra silent ones!
