Supposedly great disk almost impossible to use

It took me two weeks to successfully install the Retrospect software to get this supposed gem to even work. Even then, I haven't been able to employ this DD as my primary backup device. Get something more user friendly. |

Good portability and pricing

Purchased this drive for a second portable drive to take backup off site. It connected without problems and was instantly recognized. Sleek, simple and economical. I haven't tried the drop test, but so far it has performed as described. |
Really liked the size and speed of the unit. Didn't like the fact that I had to download the free backup software (should've been on the drive). Backed up everything with ease and the capacity (500 GB) fits my needs for three computers.
