Iomega Prestige 250GB External Hard Drive USB 2.0
Cons:
Lacks documentation. No pwr support except via USB. USB cables too short (about 20"), too slow on transfer in.
Pros: Small, light weight, price is great, easy setup - (plug & pray), pre-formatted NTFS, light packaging (enviro friendly. Online chat support is quick. |
OK for simple data moves. No one e Iomega could say what the AC adapter port on back is for. A 600mg transfer took 22.44 minutes from a D-core, 2.8 Ghz, 4 gRam system with bare essentials loaded - no other programs in use.For the price (I paid $49.99 after looking around), it's a good tool to have for quick and short data transfers, or for techs carrying around their software tools.
