I bought four of these to plug a few servers I have at work into some gigabit switches that are sitting right above them. While they were previously plugged in with 3' cables, these were on sale for $2 per piece. I bought four and replaced the 3' ones with these. Now, the back of the rack is looking nicer, albeit slowly. Good quality build, although the boots did come off the end of the connector. |

Cons:Stiff, cable connector gets stuck

The shortness of the cable is really good for connecting devices that are close together. Hooked them up for my DSL, router, switch, NAS. Only complaint is that the cable is VERY stiff and hard to bend. Also, the cable connector seems to get stuck alot when you try to unplug it and requires a bit of a wiggle. |
