The sleeving makes it look very fancy and it also makes it feel very nice . Worked as promised . ION has proved themselves as the superior brand , but also quite frankly the ONLY HDMI to DVI adapter brand on NCIX . That says quite a lot about its amazing quality ! I will buy in the future and I will recommend it like crazy .

I bought this to connect a third monitor to my GTX 670 using the card HDMI port (monitor only have VGA/DVI). Not much to say, it get the job done. No problem at all with the mechanical aspect, it connects and fit without any issues.ION products are usually much cheaper than the rest, and so far I've been pleased with almost all of their product except for one USB extension cable I bought some while ago that seem to have had an elephant sitting the the connector (which the male end was squished and had to use pliers to unbend the metal shield). But I assume that this was a problem in the shipping, so I give the benefit of the doubt.

very good cable, works as expected for much less than at a big box store. only downside is that they could be more flexible. Works well with both my PC and playstation.

Wanted to hook up PS3 to a monitor without HDMI port. This did the job by converting the HDMI on PS3 to DVI on the monitor, just remember you won't get sound out of the DVI.

I needed a HDMI cable for my TV so I bought one on sale and it works great. The nylon shielding cover is also good if you have pets.

i always buy ion cables for when i need a HDMI cable. so bought this one cause it was on sale. however, one of the screws for the DVI connector were bent and didnt realize until after i was trying to screw it into my mobo. so just check to make sure yours arent.

It didn't work as apparently my laptops hdmi port decided to stop working, so I didn't get to use it as I had planned.

The sleeved cable is a great addition both in looks and feel. It also tends to tangle less with my other cables because of it. The picture quality is uncompromising as usual even at such a low price point. It is also a bonus that the DVI's screw are a lot easier to twist than the standard.

My laptop only has HDMI graphic output while my monitor accepts only DVI for digital graphics. This cable/adapter comes to my rescue. Cable is heavy gauge and good quality. Should not have problem to outlast my laptop and monitor.

Anyone who spends more than $10 on an HDMI cable (or any cable for that matter) really need to get their heads examined. I bought this for a co-worker who just got a new laptop that has HDMI and he asked if he should go to the big-box stores and get an HDMI cable from there. I almost cried. He definitely cried when I told him how much this cable cost. The only knock is the packaging. I hate those sharp plastic clam-shell packages that cut and scrape as you take your product out of of it. There has to be a better way.

Great little cable I've used to watch HD movies for some time. It does not feel like it was built with spare parts as an afterthought, like so many other DVI cables.

As i have a laptop connected to a 1920x1080 moniter i got this to replace the vga cable that was used as i noticed that when using vga and displaying solid colours i get these weird lines similar to the ones that you get on old crts (probably something to do with refresh rate). This however clears up the problem and colours show as they are supposed to.

I bought this cable so my friend could borrow my speaker-less 24" DHCP monitor for his PS3. (Looks like crap on SD TV.) Works like a charm. (He's so pleased to be able to actually read text in games.) Though we have to use the audio from the SD cable with an RCA to 3.5mm adapter to run the sound through PC speakers.PM'd it to just shy of half what the current price. (Current price: $17.99) Well worth it, especially at that price!

I recently purchased an LED backed LCD monitor, that for some reason only has HDMI and VGA inputs but no DVI. However, when I used the DVI to HDMI adapter that came with my video card, the colours appeared very washed out. It wasn't a settings issue or a faulty monitor as it worked fine with the VGA cable so I got this cable on sale and, after some fine tuning, it fixed my problem. I now have deeper blacks, instead of faded grays.
