Been using this for a week. This external HD runs cools, have no issues with it so far. Purchased it on sale and I have been happy it so far.Transfers range averages around 15Mb/s on my USB 2.0 I was expecting to see about 300 GB of storage, but my unit had only 290GB accessible. It doesn't have a power on/off button. This unit stays pretty cool even after 15 min of transferring, and it's pretty silent too. Would be happy to get more units, if they are on-sale.
