Cons - Glossy Cards, Character Recognition Pros - Price, Character Recgonition When you figure out the cost of the scanner versus the cost to type in all that information it was an easy purchase Yes, I had to correct things but it saved me a HEAP of time for 200 cards that were sitting on my desk

I'm a law student and have gathered quite a few business cards. While the instructions and setup are not the most clear, I was able to figure it out with the help of a quick email to tech support. It also doesn't tell you that the card needs to face a specific way and it also cannot scan high gloss, full color cards. However, that all being said, it does work pretty darn well. I use it frequently and love it.

Quick delivery,installed and calibrated easily. Every card scanned has required manual editing, some small edits, some major. Overall it is easier than entering all data manually and there is a much better chance I will end up with a 'complete' card instead of just a phone no and email.

This one is not color. It has some understandable difficulties recognizing custom graphics and logos. There is a learning curve of tricks that make the scanner work well. Overall the benefits of digitizing business cards are so tremendous any solution is worth its weight in gold. This is an affordable entry point for such capability.
