KINGWIN EZD-2536 Dual Bay SATA Hard Drive Docking Station
Cons:Collects dust easily

Pros:Easy to use
Comment:
Overall good product that allows you to check hard drives easily and transfer files for backup purposes. I wouldn't recommend leaving the dock out on your desk when it's not in use because dust can easily attract to the dock since it's very open and could possibly affect the connectors.

Great deal for the price.
Comment:
I had two drives from a Frankenstein machine that I wanted to connect to my new Macbook and the Kingwin worked great. Plug-n-play. Transfer to one drive from the other is incredibly fast.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WD20EADS 2TB DRIVE
Comment:
The dock works fine with smaller drives but does not seem to like the Western Digital WD20EADS 2TB drive. I have found other docks that are compatible with this drive. I did not test other 2TB drives, but I suspect this dock will not work with them either.

KINGWIN EZD-2536 Dual Bay SATA Hard Drive Docking Station
Cons:None

Pros:Quick to Install, Works with Windows 7 64-bit OS, Very quick
Comment:
Tried the Thermaltake Duet and had nothing but problems, would not work with eSATA or USB, kept crashing Windows 7 (64-bit Home Premium) or would go off and on every 5 to 10 minutes. Had to return it to the vendor. The EZ-Dock2 took 5 seconds for the drivers to load and be verified by Windows 7. Copied a large 1.5 GB *.avi file from my laptop internal SATA drive to each drive in the EZ-Dock2 (the 2 drives: WD Raptor, 10000rpm, 139 GB), burst rate in the 60 MB/sec range (theoretical maximum of USB 2.0) and near the end of copying the file, this decreased to about 30-50 MB/sec, IMPRESSIVE!Played the *.avi file on each drive with no problem, very quick start-up in WMP, as if the *.avi file were on the internal drive. Also, drives seem to run cooler in the EZ-Dock2 than the Thermaltake Duet. All in all, and excellent product.

Good, solid drive dock
Comment:
This dock worked as advertised right out of the box! Have had it for a couple of weeks now and haven't had any probs with it. If you're considering a dual-drive dock, you can't go wrong with this one...

As Expected
Comment:
I bought this and a 1TB drive in the same order. I connected it to a computer I don't use a lot, dropped in the hard drive and started it formatting. Of course, at USB speeds, that took a while. I just let it run while I slept and it was ready to go in the morning. I've already moved files around until I have the 1TB half full. I've been able to do everything I wanted to do exactly as expected.

Nice dual hard drive dock
Comment:
I transfered my 250GB hard drive from a closer to this dual docking to keep the drive cooler. The drive seems quite warm though. I bought the unit for the purpose to transfer files from two drives without having to connect extra drives or use different size drives. I will be in the future to tranfering files from my old computer to the new one.
