Comment:
worth of hardware slides in just fine. 1 of the "caddy" backplanes was dead. Possessing to unscrew and otherwise take apart a piece of cheap plastic and metal to retrieve worth of hardware because the item is a piece of junk? Not so significantly entertaining. |

Very effectively built, no additional caddy needed to swap drives. Looks goos too! None so far. I preserve various OS's on distinct 2.five inch drives and this makes swapping super easy. |

Really Solid - no low-cost plastic to break right after one use. This is Enterprise craftsmanship at an consumer Price. I took chance on this 1 after a few others that I identified were junk. If you require a two.five" hot swap bay this is the one you want. Wasn't cost-free. This is best for your SSD. I am working with it for SSD and two.5 HDD. SSD for windows and HDD for Linux. |
Reasonably nicely built, contains two HDD circuit protection stickers. I purchased this to use with a new OCZ Vertex two SSD, but the fit is *way* too tight. I'm going to try another rack for this. Also, for typical HDDs, you would require to place an adhesive sticker on the bottom of the HDD to avoid the circuitry from shorting against the metal tray. Metal trays aren't always superior than plastic.
