Looks like it would be a handy device if it worked. Newegg was extremely prompt in offering a refund. The CF card opening in the plastic situation is misaligned with respect to the connector, producing it impossible to insert the CF card. The metal housing which is component of the connector for the SD card is bent, creating is impossible to insert that card either. I've not tried the other card slots. If the electronics was tested at the factory, it was just before mounting in the enclosure. There is no way the card read could have passed high quality manage after final assembly. |
It is a working card reader. -Very low cost construction-Cards are hard to plug in I am giving this 4 stars mainly because I knew when I bought this it would not be top quality taking into consideration the cost... I just required a low cost card reader in a hurry. At this cost... if it operates it's a fantastic product.
