It does what it's supposed to, and came with a huuuuge discount when I purchased it which was the only reason I bought it Cables aren't quite flexible, fitting them in the HDD region of my HAF X I believed when I put the side panel on that it might snap the SATA power connector off my SSD! It didn't although.While it has the watts to power triple SLI, it doesn't have enough cables. But I can't take yet another egg off for that as it's stated in the specs :( Would exchange this for a triple SLI capable PSU if I could, but I can live with it

Modular cables are long sufficient to reach the hi finish of a motherboard in the massive Corsair 800D case. It was DOA and unfortunately I did not test it until I had it in my new construct and had spent a great two hours on cable management. All in all this defective PSU wasted five hours of my life and nearly triggered a grinding halt to my organization. I am disgusted with the lack of high quality control on an item as straight forward as a powersupply, with all of the competition out there, I have to advise searching elsewhere for a hi-end PSU.....Steer clear of THIS PSU LIKE THE PLAGUE

Good blue LED lights, simple to install, lots of cables that are included with the unit. For the dollars, this is 1 of the far better power supplies for the dollars. Power Provide producers are theives. Power has not changed at all in 50 years, but these units preserve on obtaining much more high-priced AND they keep cutting functions. This unit has six 12v rails (but they all come from the similar supply so it doesn't seriously matter). There is only one 8 pin ATX connector and since I have the EVGA Classified mobo, it would of been good to have two because the CPU takes two (second one particular is optional for overclocking but not needed).Make positive you check the specs per rail. This unit only has two of the six 12v rails at 35 amps, the rest are all at 20 amp. Most PCI express two. video cards take two power connectors (one connector per rail) and 20 amps is low. 35 amp will in all probability account for the low 20 amp second connection, but not certain. Nonetheless testing my 4870x2 The power supply I seriously wanted was the Apevia Warlock 1100w. Men and women who say that PSU sucks are clueless. When it works, it functions properly... This unit died after about 9.5 months. No warning, no nothing. Just died. I requested and RMA from newegg and was issued and rma number. I shipped the item back to newegg via UPS with the PS, all the cables and the manual. A few days later I was informed that I have to have the original box in order to replace the item and that I would have to get in touch with Kingwin themselves to get a replacement. So now I have wait for new egg to ship the item BACK to me, so that I can method Kingwin about finding a replacement. What a collossal waste of time and money. Moral of the story, if you purchase Anything from these buys keep each box, that each item came in, if there is even a remote chance you will return it... Of course, if you are something like me, acquiring the space to do that is a giant pain in the --- ....

it will almost certainly be good for a basic lower finish gaming computerits more affordable [but with reason]its modularit lights up blue It did not hold up to my new gtx 580 sli gaming/folding rig , power provide died after about a day and created pc reboot and shut off continuously , this afternoon it restarted multiple times back to back suitable right after the bios splash screen and produced something fry , could smell some thing burning and computer would not come back on ... sending back this psu for rma refund and going with the antec TPQ 1200 psu .... IF YOU HAVE A Greater End GAMING RIG Remain AWAY TRUST ME , i hope it didnt kill my gpu's or my rog mother board =( all in all spend the money on a better supply , they might price more but in the finish its gonna be worth it. esp if going with a much better psu saves your 1k investment you just spent in video cards.

You use what you will need! It's got ample power for crossfire of 2 4870 DK from ASUS, 2 80gb Velociraptors in Raid , two 750gb Caviar's in raid 1, with an ASUS Rampage Extreme operating E8500 under a Xigmatek Dark Knight. Why would you get something else? Cable length perhaps a little brief when working with full towers, but be creative and you can do it! I will buy this 1 once again and once more and once again for each and every develop!! Overkill is much better than getting one more PSU to preserve up!

Looks Good that's about it I have had this PSU for less than 3 months now its generating horrible loud buzzing sound.I was told its probably on its way out.i don't have the time nor the patience to RMA this.Pure junk thats all i can think of. I heard excellent things about Corsairs PSU and Silverstone they price a lot more but at least i won't have to tear my rig apart to pull out a pile of junk PSU.I also noticed they do not even respond to any of this feeedback as opposed to other companys.I will never acquire anything from Kingwin again sry guys had your chance.

modular,really good cables,fairly fan,good blue led,im running two ati 4870 1 gig video cards in cf in an antec 1200 case with 7- 120 mm fans and a 200mm fan,and this energy supply hasnt missed a beat,im incredibly pleased and would very reccommend this ps. none. good cost for a quality ps with this a lot power.

Very basically installation: mounts to the bottom of my case with the fan pointed up.The flexibility with their modular cabling is excellent. When they say modular, they mean it! You have 8 ports (as you can see by Newegg's pics), 4 of them 4-pin and four of them 5-pin. This indicates you can't plug 1 of the modular leads into the wrong connector; if the pins match the lead you're utilizing, the connector is compatible with that lead. Furthermore, all of the modular leads have a threaded finish comparable to the female finish of a garden hose, so you screw them in location to steer clear of disconnection.The blue LED is beautiful, matching that of my Antec Twelve Hundred case. It's über quiet usually, and even when it definitely kicks into gear with higher demand games, etc., it's not genuinely very loud. None I can believe of. Nonetheless working properly following 6 months. I would extremely advise this PSU for anyone needing energy and modular in the very same box. I have had enough require of SATA connectors that it's flexibility gave me what I required (which you can't say about a lot of PSUs, even greater-end ones).

This PSU has all the fairly lights and cool cables. Ran quiet. Only lasted 2 weeks before it failed in Idle. Had to RMA it ;{ Possibly I have too considerably pc for this PSU. Asus p6t deluxe oc edition (mobo) with north bridge 40 mm fan and optional fan, i7-920 operating at 3.6Ghz, Monsoon 3 LT cpu cooler, 2x HD4870 x2's in crossfire x, 2x WD 1terabyte HD's, Antec 900 case with all the optional fans. Won't get into all the other accessories ;}

*Modular, so you use only the cables that you require.*Comes with a lot of GPU energy cables for your SLI program.*Plenty of Wattage for your rig as properly. *Gets fairly warm, but within created parameters (I hope) Nothing completely very good stands out but absolutely nothing completely poor either. It does the job and it does it nicely!

To me this is the best bang for your buck energy supply out there. At 1220w its a monster and can run anything you throw at it. The cool thing is it looks fantastic inside a sexy case and set up with the blue lighting. Several men and women don't like the lights but I know most do and I am one of those that like to appear at PC's that shine. None I only wish you could alter the light color to say red or green in energy supplies too. I haven't located a power supply that beams a mean red anywhere.

I have had this ps for two yrs for a gaming system I built and I have by no means had a issue. Generally powers up, even though I can't say its on 24ǝ but it's not off that often. I have it mounted upside down in my Antec 900 case since the blue light matches the fans and the recently added crucial balistic memory. It was a name I had by no means heard of but I wanted enough energy for whatever I decided to add, and I can say I'm pleased with this ps. None antec 900 casei7 - 920saphire 4870x2asus P6Tkingston 128 ssd (added about five months ago)wd 500 hdd6g cruical ballistic memory (also lately added, but 6g prior)

This PSU looks and works great. The glowing effect of the cable sockets looks amazing. If you can afford it don't think anymore, just get it. I gave 4 stars for features because the motherboard cables could be few inches longer. I was lucky my Cooler Master Cosmos S case had extensions. Other than that it is a great buy.

Shipped quickly, avoided a GPU RMA via purchasing this product. Hard to find a PSU that will support GPUs that require a minimum of 36amps, will work out if I ever decide to go SLI and not have to upgrade again.
