The Kensington dash mount for iPhone does work. It has many different positions but the swivel head is a bit limited and can be hard to loosen, adjust and lock down while the iPhone is in the cradle. The dash mount is very secure, but on rough roads the weight of the iPhone will cause it to shake and the reflective screen can be a distraction while flickering out of the corner of your view. The button to release is a bit hard to push if you squeeze the sides in on the iPod too hard. Strong suction cup mount and nice soft foam rubber on sides of cradle and flip out bottom legs make sure your Apple device won't go anywhere. It's very nice to have the phone within easy reach and view for hands free calls with a bluetooth headset. Could be a little better, but it is the best for such a low, low price.
