Don't Expect Hi Resolution Scans
Comment:
I bought this because it looked so simple for my parents and got one for myself too. After receiving them I quickly setup mine after help from customer support. The quality of the picture scans was very disappointing. I guess with 600dpi Max capture that all the better it can do. I guess it would be great for documents and such but don't expect a quality photo scanner, It is not that. |

Very Pleased

Installation on Windows XP went perfectly and the unit works exactly as described. This has been a huge addition to my secretary's space. No longer using the printerscanner. Paper goes from scanner directly to the shredder. |

When it works, it's great!!
Comment:
I was really excited to get this product. When this product worked properly, it was great! I had alot of installation problems. The customer service was patient and friendly, but I spent at least an hour on the phone with them trying to get their product to work the way it should on my computer with Windows XP (this required at least two phone calls). Then, my computer started to shut down and once I uninstalled the keyscan, my computer was fine. I placed a call again to customer service once this happened and never heard from them again. I was pretty disappointed. It's a great idea and great time saver when it works. I'd like to rate it higher but since it shut my computer down, didn't work as advertised and didn't get a response from customer service, I just can't. I gave them a two instead of one because it worked for about a week. Hope they get all the bugs fixed! |

this is it !!!

The best productivity tool I bought in the last several years. Completely changed the way I keep and store documents. After several days of working with this keyboard-scanner, I already saved time and storage space to cover many times my cost of $100. Can not ask for a better return on investment. Performs as advertised. Highly recommended. |

Cannot get it to work.

After a small glitch with the software installation and some of the best help from their product support team that I have ever experienced, the scanner is working exactly as advertised. It is a great product to work with, it has a very high quality keyboard and the scanner is very easy to use. This product should be a hit for medical offices in the process of going paperless and any other business who needs quick access to a scanner from their keyboards. |

Great product and deal
Comment:
I bought 4 of these ''scanner in keyboard''s a week ago for evaluation to use in our multiple office locations. I decided to buy this scanner even though we have many MFPs; the concept of having scanner at each user's desk saving space and time was very appealing. It's easy to use. The quality of the color scans is amazing and the speed, 4 secs for bw full page doc is beyond anything I have expected or used before. We mostly scan work orders, invoices and contracts to email or to PDFs and that's easily done just by placing the docs no need for menu selection or keying. Through the installation we had questions and contacted the company's support center and received quick, personal and friendly response. we'll definetley extend the use of those through out our company. I want everyone to know what a great product and great deal it is. |
I've never had so much installation problems from a product. I bought 2 scanners. Both scanners gave an error with the calibration. Tech support said it was a failed installation problem. With tech support help, I was able to get both scanner working. Then a week later, one of the scanner gave the same calibration error problem. I don't believe there is anything wrong with the scanner itself but the software is buggy. I would not recommend buying this scanner until they fix all the problems with the software. The software also needs more polish because it looks like it was written for Windows 98.
