Awesome little product
Comment:
With the USB ports or hub on the KVM switch itself, no more crawling under the desk wishin there was an easier way!

Sometimes you get what you pay for
Comment:
I bought this to hook up on my laptop and my desktop. The VGA switching was so bad that my monitor no longer was able to synch, no matter what computer I had. The USB Mouse and Keyboard seemed to work fine on my laptop but my desktop never did recongnize the Keyboard and mouse when using this switch. I can't speak for everyone but for me this was a waste of money and time.

Graphics switch is near worthless
Comment:
The graphics feature of this switch is worthless - the switch shifts the desktop partly off the screen, and it introduces an annoying flicker. This product is decent for using one keyboard and mouse set for two computers ... it does save some time and space in that regards. But I need to manually change out the cable from the monitor every time I switch machines (only once or twice a day).

Useless
Comment:
This unit caused jittering and waves of color on the monitor which causes eyestrain. It's useless to me. Will you exchange it for a different brand or refund my money? Archer

Not crazy about it
Comment:
so small that it is hard to keep in place without velcro. When switching between machines, takes awhile before everything is recognized.

Poor product
Comment:
Mouse and Keyboard on active channel would freeze intermittently and you have to switch to B channel then back to A again to get it to redetect the keyboard and mouse. Sometimes it would not work at all had to shut down and reboot. It was costing me to much down time so I removed it and trashed it.

This works great and is SOOOO easy to set up. The only switch I have tried that works with my wireless kb/m set.

Good product for intended purpose
Comment:
Very satisfied with this switch. I needed a basic USB switch, and that's what I have tested for (my monitor have multiple video inputs). No software needed (for Win XP Pro), simple, no extra power needed, small footprint, works with all regular USB cables. It installs as a USB hub. Solid product for the money.

Works great
Comment:
Instructions could be a bit better. My problem was the one PC would not recognize USB keyboard the other PS2 keyboard. Had to leave PS2 keyboard plugged in, the unit installed as USB hub with no problem and work fine.

Average quality for cheap price
Comment:
ok so bought this and found that it is fiddily and badly designed. However it does what it says on the tin. Had some intermittent problems with the screen colour on one side of the switch but other than that it is ok..... shared a USB printer using it as well, plus point...

Kinamax KVM-USB2 USB 2 Port KVM Switch - with 2 sets of cables
Comment:
Had this KVM about a year. No problems running between Dell8250 XP machine and Gateway Vista machine. Just no Audio. I like the button switching instead of the keyboard commands. I bought this because a previous KVM I had only was Hot key switchable from the keyboard and would always lock up. No lockups on this one.

Kinamax KVM-USB2 USB 2 Port KVM Switch - with 2 sets of cables
Comment:
Generally, not a bad choice for this price. Works good with one my LCD monitors (19'', 1280x1080), but poorly for another with resolution 1440x900. Also, it looks like it supports legacy USB, NOT 2.0! So, for keyboard and mouse will be OK, but for sharing drives/CD not so good. At least, that's what both my PCs complain about when I press switch button - ''This device can work faster with USB 2.0''.
