Kingston 1024MB PC2700 DDR 333MHz SODIMM Memory

My laptop was getting slower and slower. I tried reloading but that only fixed some of my problems. I upgraded with 1 gig memory that tripled my ram. This gives me 3 times the speed. I went with Kingston because that's what Toshiba recommended. I would like to upgrade to max out memory in future but for a Toshiba Satellite that requires getting to the second memory slot under the keyboard. I work on that next.

I bought this for my old Toshiba Satellite which has only a total of half a gigabyte of memory. It was really slowing down but now appears to have a new life with the new 2 sticks of 1 gb each. I am glad I did the memory upgrade.

I had two sticks of 256k factory installed memory. I bought a 1 gig stick and replaced one of the 256k sticks. It worked perfectly, so I ordered another 1 gig stick and replaced the other 256k stick. My pc wouldn't boot and it wouldn't allow me to do any diagnostics. I used my other pc and search the Kingston knowledge database and tried what was recommended, but it still wouldn't work. I took out the second 1 gig stick, leaving the 2nd memory slot open and booted my pc. It worked fine. I shut down my pc again and reinstalled the second 1 gig stick. I then rebooted and it worked fine. My Dell Inspiron 9100 running XP is almost as fast as my one year old Dell Inspiron 1505 running Vista. I was about to donate it to Goodwill and instead I gave it to my 6 year old daughter, who loves it! The upgraded memory has extended the life of this old pc at least another 2 years.

If you are looking for memory for the older G4's ( i have a 1.42, which i know is the last model made ) Kingston is your best bet. iBook running triple the speed it was before the memory upgrade Thank You

I own a Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop. I ordered 1 GB for the expansion slot in the laptop and it worked so well that I ordered another. It is now running on 2 GB of RAM and it's never run better. I haven't had any problems to date. It's like a bran new computer!

My old laptop lost one of it's 512 Meg DIMMs to old age. Replacing both to bring the total to 2 Gig (max for this ACER) has improved the speed of everything except boot up.
