Worked flawlessly in my MSI Wind U100 432us, which is the most crucial factor. Cost, acquiring my netbook up to 2GB for this inexpensive was a no brainer. none To get rid of the last screw to install the RAM I had to break the warranty sticker, but that it MSI's fault. They ought to be more hacker friendly.

Fantastic valueExcellent product NONE You can not beat this cost for RAM this good! Went up to 2gigs for a new notebook operating Vista ƒ gigs is a must) and didn't look back. Get this RAM, alter it oneself (screw Geek Squad!) and delight in Vista. They wanted to charge me over 赨 to do some thing that took my 10 minutes, that includes watching a 4 minute instruction vid on youtube! DIY 4ever!!!

I seriously don't know that a lot about computers, but my Dell Inspiron 1501 (Vista) was operating extremely slow. I began seeking into RAM and came across this. I've never ever worked on a pc prior to but installation was straightforward and it's working like a charm. I had 512 just before and I upgraded to two gigs. It's like a complete new laptop! None!

Replaced 512mb in a Dell Mini 9 with this 1gb SO-Dimm and improved overall performance. Go to a 2gb if you can afford it. This Dimm decreased boot time by approx 20 seconds. Non therefore far Really uncomplicated and affordable upgrade.. Make certain you unplug energy supply and remove the battery ahead of any memory or hardware upgrades.

Works. Runs the 24% OC with no difficulties. Didn't magically make my Wind a Core i7? Works fantastic! "Turbo" mode runs the full 24% without lock ups, with the factory RAM enabled. This particular component # was suggested as stable for the MSI Wind, and now I see why.

Works like it suppossed too. Cheap!!! Only paid like ผ. If you will need some thing to bump up that speed and don't want to pay for anything fancy, but gets the job accomplished. This is it. Don't pay outrageous amounts for RAM in a laptop. None Kingston is an extremely reliable brand, finest bang for the buck out there. If you are a Gamer, this is not what you want. Go with Corsair or OCZ with low cas latency.

Quite easy to install in my Compaq F700, speeds up Vista nicely. Doesn't play properly with the memory that my system came with. I had two 512mb sticks and replaced one with this memory. Initially Vista did not recognize it. I ran the rating program and it showed up as 1.5GB. Everything ran excellent, but my personal computer would no longer go to sleep. Screen went off, but laptop did not shut down. Experimented a bit. Old memory had no issues, this memory had no issues on its own, but when each sticks are in, the difficulty exists. So it doesn't generally play nicely with other varieties of memory. Will have to get one more stick of the Kingston and, darn it, they raised the price!

Just got it these days! Installed into my little MSI Wind netbook just fine, came up fine, and XP now shows it has having 2GBs of RAM (well, ok, 1.99GB). As a result, my computer is considerably snappier, programs load quicker, it starts and shuts down quicker, and overall is just much better. None.

I believe that my laptop does run faster with the Kingston ram chip set at a fair price. They were well packaged and receive on time.
