Kingston 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:
None
Pros: Great price for a nice bit of RAM. Comment:
Got this to help upgrade a friends computer. Just needed some extra ram and this has done the trick. It worked without issue out of the box. The ram itself has a real low profile, wondered if I had ordered the right part for a second. Anyway, it is a great investment for some low priced value ram. Reliable brand too. |

Kingston 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:
cant find any
Pros: inexpensive Comment:
inexpensive but works great, installed perfectly and runs in my PC without any issues. I would suggest this for anyone with a basic computer and just needs to upgrade RAM to something higher, gamers should probably look for something more high performance. |

Kingston 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:
-I didn't buy these first.
Pros: -Lifetime warranty. Comment:
I bought this RAM for a GA-P35-DS3L to replace some RAM I bought by mistake that wasn't on the memory support list. (This board isn't on the compatibility list on this page, but the RAM is on Gigabyte's compatibility list for the board.) I ran Memtest86 for an entire weekend on this RAM because I forgot to turn it off. It performed perfectly with not a single error. |

Kingston 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:
- None
Pros: - Cheap (Good price when on sale)- Reliable Comment:
Bought 4 sticks for two computers and all of them worked fine out of the box. Would highly recommend for low-mid range computers. Even in high end computers it would be fine since the differences are so small. I would rather recommend more RAM than faster RAM. |

Kingston 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:higher end brand memory looks better with all the fancy heatsinks
Pros:good pricegood brand Comment:
If your looking for decent cheap ram this would be it. As long as you don't plan on overclocking you touching the timings of the memory it should be good for your regular system. If you plan to overclock grab some brand name stuff like OCZ |

Kingston 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:None to be found, runs nicely overclocked and doesnt get overly hot runs about 44 degrees celcius.
Pros:Great Memory for the value runs at 6.4GBS instead of 5.3GBS most 800MHZ memory gets timing are actually 5-5-5-18. Comment:
all in I was going to build an AM3 DDR3 Dragon platform although after close look and dropping the price by about $200 going with an AM3 DDR2 system is a way better to go for the pocket book so I bought 4 of these cards for a 32bit operating system and 1 GB that system cant use my 790FX chipset uses to aid my to 4870's instead of 1GB + 1GB I get rated at 2GB + 2GB of video memory both cards are overclocked to 840MHZ 2GB 1.8GHZ X 2 cards. which I bought with the money I saved by staying with DDR2 memory. my comuters vista scores 5.9 BASE SCORE for EVERYTHING! |

Kingston 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:-none observed so far
Pros:-Low priced!-certified compatible with many motherboards-Solid brand Comment:
Very cost-effective. Not the fastest available but a great RAM choice for a low-mid end PC build. I bought 2 of these for use in a mid-range HTPC and it has worked flawlessly. |
well, it's cheap ram and it works. i've used plenty of kingston value ram over the years and i don't think i've ever had trouble with it. if you don't need absolute top performance (most of us probably don't) than this is fine.
