Kingston 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:None
Pros:Value for the money (when I bought it), stable Comment:
If you can't get a new system, for about $50 this will help you boost your performance. It works really well; it just looks kinda cheap, but who cares. |

Kingston 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:None that I can see.
Pros:Compatible with Asus A7V600-X. Comment:
The A7V600-X is super-fussy about PC3200 memory, but it likes this kind. At the price, there's not much point in looking elsewhere for this motherboard. |

Kingston 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:It's DDR, rather than DDR2, but that's good for computers that will only take DDR ;)
Pros:512 MB of cheap DDR ramLifetime warranty Comment:
I buy this memory whenever a client wants to upgrade their older computer with extra memory. It works great, and I haven't had any compatibility problems with it yet. It's quite cheap, and yet has a lifetime warranty. |

Kingston 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:none
Pros:Cheap!Did I say cheap?Works just fine - well pricedDoes what it's supposed to Comment:
This is my third batch of Kingston RAM I've purchased. Ordered 2 256 MB sticks that were "paired" for dual channel and 2 sticks of "off-the-shelf" which ran also quite well in dual channel. These 512 MB sticks are both running nicely in dual channel as well. No complaints. Does what it is supposed to do. Got both these sticks of RAM for $90.00. Watch for it on sale. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-24-07 01:17 PM |

Kingston 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:None for price.
Pros:Cheap, works flawlessly, lifetime warranty. Comment:
Got 2 of these for my sisters computer over 2 years ago and they are holding up very well. The computer is mainly used for e-mail, msn, and light gaming (flash games, sims 2) so these work good. For the price they can't be beat along with the lifetime warranty. Timings are decent and so is the bandwidth but if you want something gamer / enthisuats orientated go for some OCZ ram. |

If you do not need to run these sticks in dual channel, they are okay. Passed memtest86 at 3-3-3-8. Came with retail box and lifetime warranty, but no heat spreaders. The ones I got are single-sided. |

Kingston 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:- Not for the 'clocker.
Pros:- Its Kingston.- Price- Reliability Comment:
Every "work" system I build runs this memory. I don't know how much Kingston Valueram I have purchased over the years (probably a few terabytes worth) and it has yet to fail. If y our not a 'clocker and need that reliable bang for your limited buck, this IS the best choice. |

Kingston 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:None
Pros:Great ValueGreat Quality Comment:
There isn't much to say about this ram. I've probably used over a dozen sticks of it in various computers and i've never had one stick fail. I would recommend this stuff over any other budget ram out there and many of the high-end stuff too. |
I bought this memory for an old prescott 3.4 ghz. I wanted to pair it with 2 other 512 stick in order to have 2gb 4x512. This is great with windows xp. I know there are more powerfull and speedier kits like mushkin of performance kits, but this one fits my need I could not ask for more. I recommend those sticks if you DON'T HAVE CHOICE to use ddr1.
