Pros:Great priceNo cap to worry about losing Comment:
Decent speeds and I like the fact I don't have to worry about losing yet another USB flash drive cap. The size is small too which is nice. |

Kingston 8GB USB 2.0 HI-SPEED DataTraveler 100 Generation 2
Cons:Not USB 3.0. Why isn't everything USB 3.0 at this point in time?
Pros:Nice, quick USB 2.0 drive. The slide-to-hide, capless design is nice; I prefer it to designs where you have to remove a rubber or plastic cap that can get lost. Comment:
Great price on sale, and a very fast USB 2.0 memory stick. I get ~20MB/s reading and writing large files, which is near the cap for USB 2.0. Yes it doesn't compare to newer USB 3.0 devices, but then those don't cost $3.99 on sale either. |

Kingston 8GB USB 2.0 HI-SPEED DataTraveler 100 Generation 2
Cons:Insides exposed;Awkward open/close system;That cheap "plasticy" feel ;-)
Pros:$4 for 8GB;Kingston; Comment:
God for the price, and it’s Kingston. The biggest problem for me is that there is no cover of any kind for the USB opening; if you carry it in your pockets, expect it to fill with dirt fast! It’s intended for “out-of-site” documents backup and I hope It will be great for that. And, did I say I do not like it’s hollow plastic feel?? ;-) |

Really not much to say about a USB stick. It works and looks good. Does the job. Little on the slow side but still faster than using a cd. |

Kingston 8GB USB 2.0 HI-SPEED DataTraveler 100 Generation 2
Cons:Bulky.Slow 3megs/s write.
Pros:Price on sale and with free shipping.5 year warranty on something this cheap.Kingston stuff has worked well for me. Comment:
If I had bothered to read the reviews, I'd probably have gone with more 16 meg thumb drives. That being said, a couple of these work fine and if dependability is like previous purchases of Kingston stuff then I'll be happy. Mine will serve for my purposes and the sale price was fine. |

Kingston 8GB USB 2.0 HI-SPEED DataTraveler 100 Generation 2
Cons:bit larger then normal usb key
Pros:Works well for the price Comment:
I got 2 keys on sale for 3.99$. I would not pay a lot more for that, but for the price it's really good. It a bit larger in size, so maybe not the best for something really portable. |

got it for $2.99, bought 5 at once, good for some usb system.made some windows 7 usb stick and mac os usb stick, the only thing i don't like about is it's too big for a usb flash drive, it's smaller, would be perfect. |

Kingston 8GB USB 2.0 HI-SPEED DataTraveler 100 Generation 2
Cons:No LED.
Pros:It does what it says it does. Good secure cover for the connector. Seems pretty well made. Comment:
It's hard to write a complicated review on an item like this, but overall I am very happy with my purchase. I bought them on sale, so I got great price:benefit ratio haha! The sliding cover is cleverly designed and it protects the outer sides of the connector. Hoever, the cover does not protect the open end, so if you were to put it in a pocket full of pocket-fuzz, the end could very well get plugged and would require cleaning. |

Kingston 8GB USB 2.0 HI-SPEED DataTraveler 100 Generation 2
Cons:slow slow slow
Pros:cheap on sale, nice capless design, small size Comment:
its an ok usb drive if you just want something basic. Write speeds are 4mb/s. heavy users should stick to something a little faster. this is fine for your in car music USB stick or something. |

Kingston 8GB USB 2.0 HI-SPEED DataTraveler 100 Generation 2
Cons:Very slow speed.
Pros:Cheap price! Comment:
This is the slowest USB drive I have ever owed. The writing speed is just below 3 MB/s. It took 30 min to write a whole 8 GB of data into the drive. It's easily nowadays to find a much faster drive at the same price point. Beware of this drive!! I have actually written am email to Kingston technical support. They replied me quickly that the specification of this drive is only 1.5 MB/s, so I should feel good for having double speed.Beware!! There are many faster drives available at the same price point. |

Kingston 8GB USB 2.0 HI-SPEED DataTraveler 100 Generation 2
Comment:
Quick, lots of storage, and pretty inexpensive. The capless style doesn't lock either closed or open, so it is constantly opening at the wrong time and when you insert it into a USB port, it tries to close! I retain this on my essential chain, so it gets a fair amount of abuse, and I seriously thought a capless style would support, but this thing is just far more trouble than it is worth. |

Kingston 8GB USB 2.0 HI-SPEED DataTraveler 100 Generation 2
Cons:it always occupy the neighbor usb port
Pros:cheapdecent speedcapless Comment:
This was selling for $5 during weekly sale. The speed was good enough, but the writing speed can be better. The capless design is good as there is always a cover for the port. However, the casing becomes too large to plug another usb drive next to it. I would buy the swinging cap version of it next time. |

Kingston 8GB USB 2.0 HI-SPEED DataTraveler 100 Generation 2
Cons:None
Pros:Fast, safe, solid. Comment:
These are great memory stick special at low price if you need plenty of them. |
Le mécanisme de protection de cette clef USB est de bonne construction le taux de transfert des donnée assez limité entre autre à cause de l'interface USB2.0. En général le rapport qualité/prix est bon.
