There are a lot of "USB 3" drives out there that seem to be more marketing than performance. This is not one of those drives. This thing is blazing fast and actually takes heavy advantage of USB 3. The read and write speeds easily outperform any other flash drive I've used(and I've used quite a few). I have had no compatibility issues with it across several devices using both USB2 and USB3 ports.The performance does come at a cost as the drive is pretty expensive at full price but often goes on sale so watch out for that.The only real negative I have is that it is a bit on the large/bulky side for a flash drive and may have trouble fitting into some USB slots that don't have a lot of surrounding clearance.I have a small USB extension cable that I have to use for one of my devices but overall that is a small price to pay for the great performance of the drive.
