Kingston Data Traveler DT112 Capless 16GB USB2.0 Black / White Flash Drive
Cons:Flimsy design
Pros:Large capacity, cheap, decent transfer times Comment:
The cap is sort of flimsy and does not slide very well. I wish there was some sort of locking mechanism - even a nub on the cover would have done well. But I bought this for my dad, and he's only using it as backup media for his desktop, so it's OK. |

Kingston Data Traveler DT112 Capless 16GB USB2.0 Black / White Flash Drive
Cons:Poor design for the USB plug coverA little flimsy feeling
Pros:Works greatLarge capacityDecent price Comment:
The USB plug cover slides back as soon as it brushes up against anything or is put in a pocket. The design feels a little flimsy. I expected better from Kingston |
I did not expect the best, fastest USB drive on the market. I bought it to play video files on my DVD player which accepts USB devices, I just wanted large capacity so I can fill it up as much as possible without updating the files every day. Like the other reviews, the design is a bit flimsy but I won't have it in my pocket all day long (which I would not recommend!).I am a bit dissapointed with the transfer speed from my PC, I'd say about 20 minutes to transfer 6GB of stuff... It's pretty slow, but again huge capacity so it might be normal.5 years warranty is good, let's just hope I won't need it!
