It's a pretty standard USB memory stick. It works well with everything I've thrown at it - computer, laptop, netbook, patriot media center. I mostly use it to transfer movies and tv shows between my computer and patriot media box. The movies play just fine without copying them to a harddrive first. Transfer rates are what you'd expect for USB 2.0. Not blazingly fast, but acceptable. It DOES work with windows readyboost if anyone's interested.The cap is easy to loose. In fact I lost mine in the first few days.
