Kingston DataTraveler 32GB USB Flash Drive
Cons:
FAT32 only. Writing is SLOW. About 4 to 5 times slower than an external USB 2.0 hard drive. Because it is thick, you may not be able to put 2 USB devices one on top of the other if that is your PC plug configuration. Side by side plugs will attach 2 devices.
Pros: Nice looking black body with transparent protector (?). Capacity is as advertized. |
As I said it is SLOW to write unto it. It costs less - you get less. The real storage is practically 32 GB - nice. I tried to reformat in NTFS - no way - the only choice was FAT32. I use Windows XP. I will use it to backup and transfer files between my 2 computers. It is too thick for some USB ports that are one on top of the other. i.e. you can plug this unit in one port both nothing on the other. Overall rating: Average.
