Kingston DataTraveler SE9 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Metal Casing
Cons:Great looking metal casing scratches easily.Speed isn't great, but suitable for most purposes.
Pros:Price on sale.Very tiny size which helps when using on computers crowded with stuff plugged into USB ports, or in posting to send pictures etc.Five year warranty.Looks great! |
I'm pretty amazed at the value of USB sticks now. I pick these up when they are on super sale ($13) and use them to send pictures through postal service, since they are tiny. The old fat32 file system is readable on any OS, but remember that the drive has to be formatted to something more modern to deal with large file sizes.I'm also amazed by how well the Kingston products have held up in very tough circumstances such as running Linux distributions from them. I hadn't expected them to last through constant reading and writing given the price, but I've yet to have one die.
