The price is right.

This Kingston 8GB card is a good price. I have a Lexar 4GB that cost a bit more but I was looking for more capacity. This is noticeably slower than my Lexar 300X in my Sony Alpha 350 but the price is right and allows me take 1480 pictures on the card. |

Good price good card

For those with card readers that only handle up to a certain capacity like me you will have to use your camera to transfer pictures. The write speed is great easily keeping pace with the speed at which my DSLR can shoot. Great deal. |

Looks good on paper

I have an MSI desktop computer that came as a barebones, with a socket for a compact flash card on the motherboard intended for Linux installations, according to the manual. So, I ordered the elite flash, and it didn't fit the IDE bus socket. Until I determine whether the motherboard IDE socket is bad, or it stops fitting flash at 4 GB, I have no way of saying whether or not I got a dud. I wish they carried more green barebones like the MSI (which works great with the hard drive and DVD player I boutht to go with it). |
what is weird is i have other kingston 133x (not elite pro - just the standard ones) and their Faster... seems the elite pro is Slower than the standard 133x -- my camera stutters and is unable to write fast enough.
