Superb RAM! Great speed, no errors, Looks great in my Thermaltake situation. Bought two sets of these for my new machine, based on past purchases from Kinston, I wasn't dissapointed. Nearly dropped a star for having to tweak settings to get complete speed. But it's only a minor annoyance and it is obviously stated in the specs. Specs - Thermaltake "Tsunami" situation, Asus M3A board, AMD X2 6400 3.2GHz, MSI NX8600 GTS 512MB video, Thermaltake V1 cooler, three Western Digital Cavair RE 250 Gig drives in a RAID Ư, four Gigs Kington Hyper X 800MHz CAS 4 RAM, XP64. |

Actually can't say something good because they never ever were stable. Perhaps I just got some undesirable sticks. I just built a new technique and had a undesirable knowledge with Kingston Hyper X. They barely booted at five 5 five 15 1.8v, the default timings. At very first my program wouldn't turn on, following clearing the bios and attempting I got beeping, and crashes.Setting up other memory confirmed it was faulty Hyper X.Ultimately following flashing to a new bios, I was capable to ajust timings to four 4 4 12 two.0v and the Hyper X memory was stable for a short though, but it never ever lasted. Soon after the crashes I turned it on and would hear the inform-tale the beeping warnings indicating a memory problem. Clearing the bios and starting more than with a lot more conservative timings didn't assist.Had to RMA and consume a restocking fee, ouch. Still like Newegg even though. I heard in posts of others obtaining trouble with Hyper X and MSI motherboards. My Motherboard is K9N Neo V3. |

This has been the ideal RAM I've ever owned. It is solid at the the default settings and has performed extremely properly without tweaking. Appealing heatspreaders. Kingston! None If you're looking for RAM that will be solid and trustworthy with minimal fuss in tweaking then this is your RAM. If you're looking for RAM that is tweakable then this is your RAM. |

Rapid and reputable so far. SPD is incomplete, at least according to CPUZ. You can manually set the timings to PC2 6400 in the BIOS, but because the SPD only has timing presets for PC2 5300 鶍 mhz), the auto-detect on my motherboard would not set it at PC2 6400 till I manually altered the speed. Probably this is intentional for some cause? |

4-4-4-12 Latency timings just cant be beat at DDR2 800. Heat spreaders often a great bonus. Only one con, most motherboards wont automatically set the 4-4-four-12 timings, so you have to set the timings manually in the bios. General this RAM is some of the greatest about. |

Performs perfectly with the memory that I currently had installed in my 4 year old Core 2 Duo P43 machine. None that I can detect. This is excellent, smooth memory. Particularly provided that the Vital equivalent is apparently actually poor. |

Running RAM at 800 mhz with four-four-four-12 timing and 2.0v.No problems at all.Machine runs great.Seriously fast and not crashing on me. BIOS sees RAM at slower speed so you ought to don\'t forget to go into BIOS and set RAM up manually Kingston makes decent RAM.I would acquire their RAM again. |

Great ram, all the crashing to desktop troubles i had in vista with source games with cxxxxxr ram have been fixed. Frame rates in 1 benchmark have improved 10 fps compared to the last ram I had. only gets five.six in the Windows Vista Practical experience index score, although this hardly matters. This is genuinely reputable ram, and it worked flawlessly out of the box. I am buying an additional two gb soon. |

HyperX has often been great to me. This memory is no unique. None I use this in an Asus M3A and a M2A-VM and they each run this memory fine, after you adjust the speed from SPD default to 800 and raise the voltage to two.0v. I have but to set the timings though so I don't know if i'm receiving the complete possible out of these. |

It's Kingston, and out of the dozen sticks I've owned by them, not one particular has failed. Posted perfectly, accepted rated CAS and bandwidth settings with out a hitch. Seven hours Memtest 86+ no errors. Cost, but you get what you pay for in reliability and good quality control. No stick of memory will ever post at its rated settings automatically, unless they take place to be the exact same as your motherboard's default. They all must be set manually in the BIOS. Listing this as a con is just foolish and only shows one particular's ignorance. |

RAM is incredibly very good. great and rapid with no errors.i am really happy! only one u have to adjust the settings in your BIOS to get the RAM to run at the specs that are right here on newegg.com if u dont have a motherboard that can adjust the BIOS settings and timings of the RAM then i would not recommend paying for this RAM. Obtain your self RAM that will come stock with the identical specs it says. |

No errors. Speed as advertised reached 4-4-4-12. SPD settings are five-5-5-15. You must overclock in your BIOS to get CAS 4 speeds. Make certain your mobo supports this prior to purchasing. Why don't they set the SPD settings to CAS 4? Fishy to me, but a lot of manuf. are performing this....Operating this as a pair in Intel G31 chipset....no difficulties... Memtest passed. |
I have employed Kingston ram for years. And this ram has not let me down. Wonderful for your subsequent SLI laptop or computer. none
