Performs well if you get a operating set My Windows 7 installation kept blue screening even though working with the initially set of this ram that I received, I ended up placing the challenging drive into a various machine for the set up and it worked fine, popped it back in the 1 with this ram and then it would blue screen after 5 or so minutes of use. Ran memtest on it and it failed the majority of tests, so had to RMA it to get a functioning set. Newegg was really fast to deal with the issue even though I was content with that.

It works at 800mhz. Very good cost on specific ࿏$CAD). Looks like a high quality solution doesnt work at 1066 (whatever voltage) like specified by Kingston.

Its kingston require I say far more? Currently clocked at 800 with dual channel but as single channel i can pull the 1066, rather deceiving or Im messing up someplace. Misleading on the overclocking functionality, its accurate but false at the sametime

Can operate stable at 800. No matter what I did, I couldnt get it to run at 1066.Was in a position to get it to run steady at 800 with two.05 VoltsMy AsRock N68-S board only supplies up to two.20 Volts. However, from two.10 to two.20Volts, Windows wouldnt boot. From 1.80-1.90 I would get random BSOD. Not sure if I got negative stick or what?

It's memory. As memory, it operates. As a handful of other individuals, I'm far more than a bit upset that it will not run at the 1066 speed. All the tweaking and testing I've tried, and at -most- I can get it up to 800.

Looks cool if you have a window case. Fantastic size for the dollars. Heat spreaders look to assistance. On my motherboard, a Black Edition ECS rated for 1066, it is only operating at 880 according to CPU-Z don't know if it is my mobo or this ram. Nevertheless rapid at 880, i would just like to get what is advertised out of a item I payed a premium for.

Fast, Very good cost, 6.8 Windows Experience Rating, Kingston is a excellent brand, haven't had a problem with any of their RAM but. Must be overclocked to get 1066, but was no difficulty if you know what your executing, but if you don't might be a dilemma. four stars for the noobies to Pc developing that might not know how to do this. Other then the over clock, it's quite very good RAM, DDR2 is acquiring outdated as DDR3 takes more than, but still reasonably priced.

Great Memory, does what its suppose to. nothing I can believe of.... Terrible shipping. This shipped from a location, 10hrs away if I drove it, and takes upwards of 8days to get the product...a little memory stick? I order an entire computer system and can get it in 3 days....doesn't make sense.

Was looking to upgrade from 4GB of Kingston Hyper X Pc-1066 DDR2 to 8GB of the same brand, and found that this DIMM was reduce in latency than the ones in the Ř-pack" so I got 4 of these 2GB DIMMS to equal 8GB. They had been more affordable than the four Pack of DIMMS as nicely (by about Ū) Ordered on Thursday morning and they arrived Friday (Newegg has a warehouse right here in Memphis)I eliminated my pagefile fully and the system seems far far more responsive. Very first 2 DIMMS (remember, I bought 4 of these) that I installed kept locking up the process. I place the other two in and it worked fine. Initially, I thought I could have received a bad DIMM. I decided to place a bit much more juice to them even though ahead of calling 1 of those two "defective" and initiating the RMA course of action. When I checked my BIOS for RAM Voltage, I was operating 1.8, not two.3 (which these call for) When I bumped the volts up to 2.3v all four DIMMS worked good (Tested with Prime) and then played an hour or two of Fallout 3. I know I shouldn't ding the DIMMS for not operating at 1.8v like the ones I replaced, but considering the ones I removed had been overclocked like a mo-fo whilst Below-volting, I'd assume that these would run at stock 1066 speeds at the very same volts. I am running them at 800 ideal now, as an alternative of 1066 because I'm underclocking the system they are in. It's an HTPC that I want to be as silent as feasible. Due to the fact I do play Fallout 3 on it from time to time, I will bump them up to 1066 soon to see if they will operate error absolutely free at their rated speed.C2D two.66Ghz & Ultra120Extreme8GB Kingston HyperXMSI P6N PlatinumATI Radeon HD4870 (Scythe Musashi Heatsink)two.5TB WD and Seagate DrivesLG BRLiteon DVD+-RWHauppauge HVR-1800 with remoteBose Companion threeHT Omega Stryker SoundCorsair HX620XCLIO Coolbox Dell 2408FPWG15+Kensington Professional Mouse Pro

No complications putting in the memory... Its memory, and it works. none My Motherboard is nevertheless operating it at 800 instead of 1066 simply because I haven't manually reset it however, but I don't imagine it will trigger any difficulties.

Straightforward to install, as is most memory, and hasn't crapped out on me, even even though I'm operating Windows 7 Expert in 64 bit. W7Pro 64 uses half the memory idling though so I ordered another. Value. Wayyy to expensive, but worth it. I tension the hell out of this thing and it runs like a charm. Plus for the price it's decent.

Great timings!Physically, it just looks plain amazing! A little major, but I was in a position to fit two right subsequent to every other. Purchased two, and my Windows experience level for memory is a 6.four. Finest memory I've purchased!Don't forget to set your memory timing and voltage level in the BIOS!
