Purchased this RAM for the high ratings and reasonable cost. My machine immediately became smoother in all processes. I can't wait to purchase three additional sticks of this exact same stuff to max out my board with 8gb. Cost-free shipping is a bonus & arrived in 4 company days. Packaged nicely Wish the price was a little lower but it is nonetheless a fantastic worth.

Runs effectively at 800mhz. Looks cool. As with other reviewers no luck overclocking to 1066mhz no matter what timings or voltage I use. I've got an asus P5E that has some far better twecking setting so I'll try to see if I can get anything stable on that but using 533, 5 five 5 15 two.2v 2.24v two.26v is unstable. Looks like its hit or miss finding this ram to run at 1066mhz depending on your mb and bios. Yes I know that the max rated JEDEC spd for DDR2 is 800mhz and 1066 is an overclocked setting.

Runs at 1066 with two.2v N/A Individuals who dock eggs due to the fact their motherboard can't push two.2v to their dimm slots really should actually just blame themselves and their motherboard

I bought this to expand the RAM on my Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H MB. I initially installed 4GB ƒx2) of OCZ Platinum DDR2 1066, and now wanted to expand, but it is no longer generally offered. I also had a lot of difficulty acquiring the OCZ to run stable at 1066, but lastly fixed that by placing the it into slots three & 4 (or 2 & 3 if counting from ). Having mixed and matched RAM just before, I took a opportunity with the Kingston (importantly, it has the very same timings and voltage as the OCZ 1066), and it works fantastic! Not a single "con". I bought one stick of this Kingston 1066 to see if it would operate with the OCZ, and it performs as it should (MemTest passed). I just ordered an additional stick, and when installed, I'll have a the full 8GB of RAM I wanted, all functioning as it need to. This is probably the last DDR2 memory I'll ever obtain (everything has gone to DDR3). Kingston tends to make excellent RAM, memory cards, and USB sticks. I own them all, and have in no way had a complaint or failure.

Utilized for budget develop on Foxconn motherboard. Tested out fine and working as it should at 1066. None so far If you will need a 2GB DDR2 stick for inexpensive, this is it!

Great memory, Amazing price, Moves even my slow P4 CPU to that of todays standards. Good heatsink NADA I personal a Dell Dimension 3000 e310. I run a Pentium 4 HT. w/ Nvidia 512. Which that it was PCI-e but runs properly with PCI graphics card.

Ran MS memory test for over an hour at 1066 with out error. I have 2 modules running in dual channel mode. CPU-Z reports 400 MHz as max bandwidth and there isn't even a JEDEC for 533 MHz. I had to seek the advice of the Kingston website for voltage settings. I have this operating in my Asus P5E by setting the DRAM frequency to 533 and cranking the DRAM voltage to two.24. All other memory settings are set to Auto. Kingston recommends 2.25, but my motherboard only supports 2.24 and two.26. It truly angers me that this is advertised as 1066 RAM but the RAM reports 800 as best speed.

runs at 1066, its 2GB and its affordable, I fits my criteria so I adore it. On my asus motherboard, it was the easiet upclock ive had, i just set the mhz higher,no voltage alter, runs stable. at default it runs at 800mhz and on the single core i tested it with i couldn't get it to 1066, thankfully enough it ran just fine when i put in my dual core BE. Gonna have to get a different stick of this.

This is high top quality RAM as must be expected from the Kingston HyperX line. I have built three PCs with Kingston HyperX in five years and I will continue to use it in future builds as the HyperX brand has confirmed to be stable, durable and usually Quite trustworthy RAM. Completely none.I do not give positive reviews lightly. The heat spreader is high-excellent, attached solidly, and aesthetically acceptable. If you purchase this RAM, you can anticipate not to have to replace it for the lifetime of the system. To illustrate, in addition to 2 sticks of this RAM (KHX8500D2ǘG), I own three sticks of an older-model HyperX RAM which have been in-use for the past 5 years, 24ǝ뤅 (with the exception of maintenance just about every 3 months).

Running on a affordable Gigabyte g41 board. 1066 4-four-4-12 @ 2v.Intel e8400 overclocked to three Ghz none, appears to be pretty flexible running lower cas. and under volted! have it paired with a kingston 800 that is overclocked to match it. so Kingston runs great.
