1066MHz speeds, low latency, heat-spreader, and price isn't that negative. It runs at 800MHz unless you MANUALLY set timings and speed. The settings (that worked for me) are 5-five-5-15 @ 2.2-2.three V.It did cause instability with my technique when I OC'd my CPU.The SPD will give false info. Manually setting the timings cause my technique to develop into unstable when I OC'd my CPU. As a result, my stick is operating at 972MHz as oppose to 1066MHz like it's suppose to. And the only cause why it's operating that rapid is since I changed the bus speed. operates pretty good at 800mhz, read cons I thought it was 1066, which my mobo supports 667-1066 but why is it only registering to 800mhz.. I even tryed turning it to 1066 which resulted in a blue screen memory dump. The ram functions fairly superior though, it could be the fact that i only have 2gigs right now but i got a different 2gigs on order so possibly then i can upgrade it to 1066.

DDR3 ram performance, 15-5-five-5 speeds at 2.22volts on my program. Heat spreader Make confident your motherboard can manage this rams speed and 2.two to 2.3 volts. For most ddr2 1066mhz or faster ram, you will prob. have to manually set the speeds and possibly update your motherboards bios. The ram will run at 800mhz at 1.8volts on default, most motherboard web sites have information on what ram and cpu's they can handle

This ram is fantastic. It runs all my game's like crysis, gta 4. And runs windows 7 64bit. I have two sticks of this ram and no troubles so far. I can run at 1066, but you have to go in your motherboard bios to set it, make positive that you have enough voltage very first just before getting. DDR two, Runs at 1066 in my motherboard with out any difficulties (AMD Athlon x3 440). My Biostar mobo a770E says it can run at 1066 with AM3 processor and it does! Super rapid ram, works good for gamming. Not DDR 3 but DDR two is the limit of my motherboard so you can't bash the ram for what it is! Affordable replacement program I bought from New Egg. I bought a new motherboard, processor, ram, and video card to replace a motherboard that nearly fried. rapidly ddr2, unproblematic none I bought two of these to max out an old asus mobo that had many revisions (p5l-mx). Specs said it supported 1066, but specs were from wrong revision. Overclocked ram in the bios to get most of the ram's capable speed - problem solved.

Absolutely nothing to report. Very good ram expense great income. Dont buy from poor businesses such as G-Skill. They will give you headache.

Bought on sale with free shipping. Excellent critiques. None. Need to have to use far more prior to truly know how very good but no problems yet. Primarily went off reviews and waited for a small cost break. I love Newegg but they are pathetic when it comes to putting ddr2 on sale! I cant seem to get it to run at 1066 but thats sort of my fault since i picked a motherboard that doesnt really supply enough voltage to the RAM so i guess thats not definitely a RAM issue. either way it still works terrific a 800mhz so im pleased.

Quickly, effectively-priced, durable and looks wonderful. Can't think of any. If your motherboard can support PC-8500 and you're not interested in DDR3, this is terrific RAM to get.

works no lags or blue screens with it. Not inexpensive heat spreaders function nicely works with gaming quite nicely. On my motherboard it runs at 800 rather than it running at the listed speed of 1066.

Worked pretty decent, until just lately had a stick fry. So now i'm running on a 1 gb stick. Have had it for less than two years. 1 stick fried. Contacted Kingston and they said they would replace it, except i have to send in both sticks. :(

Works excellent and is rapidly! Had to alter the default setting to 1066 from exactly where it was. No biggie but it didn't do it on its own which I thought was a bit odd.

It's really quick. None so far. Make sure your voltage is right since my default 1.90v would power my 1 stick at 1066 but when I got this second one it started to BSOD. At first I thought it was poor ram but the tests checked out... the voltage was to low for both sticks. 2.2v appears to function nicely and I thank previous commenter for that!
