Runs completely at 1066Low temps so farWay far better load instances for computer software None I do a lot of gaming and my rigs ram was some quite old DDR2-800 that was operating really slow and hot, so I upgraded to 6GB of 1066. My computer is stable and rapidly with this ram, no issues at all. Never had an error, runs @ 1066 even although I had to do it manually, and it raised my 3d mark score over 1500 points from the 1066 ram I had prior to. Runs hotter than I like but there are always fans for almost everything. Just make sure it is operating at 1066mhz or if you're dense like myself and run it @ 800mhz for the longest time but it ran so substantially faster that I believed it was at 1066 till I went to overclock my CPU and I love it even a lot more.

if I run it at 800 it will pull four-4-4-7 timings which is good will not in any way shape or kind run stable at 1066. set manually in bios. worked with kingston tech help and even at 1066 7-7-7-20 it wouldn't run stable hundreds of memtest86 errors. per kingston it is a 50-50 shot as to if it will work at rated speed. I don't like odds like that so I am going to rma. Even even though I can get decent low latency settings to function on this ram I am just not fond of the complete not functioning at rated speed issue.

Runs very rapid and very good ram. not overclocking ram :( ... runs ideal at 800 and goes to 1066 and runs excellent but have to have your bios just ideal for it to run stable. ok i got a gigabyte mb and have ram three ram settings along with all the timing, voltage and clocks and so on. nicely the 3 are standard, turbo and extreme. only way it functions on intense is to have it running at 800, runs at 1066 on turbo but its not as well stable, functions excellent till running games for more than an hour then gets warm and bluescreens me, i set it at 1066 and put it to common and runs fantastic with no difficulties. Excellent ram but for you overclockers like me its not quite great for overclocking, and it dont take properly to differant settings and adjustments like corsair and ocz, other than that the voltage is alittle hight but not a con seens it seems to run excellent in my machine right after nearly a year of tinkering with it i found the great settings, machine specs aregigabyte mb GA-EP45-UD3PAsus Ati Radeon HD 5850Kingston HyperX Ram 4 GB (for nowƛTB HDDIntel Core two Quad 2.66 GHz Overclocked to 3.6GHz

This ram is excellent in efficiency. You get what you get and I have found no efficiency issue with it what-so-ever.But.... (Read Con) I might have received undetectable faulty ram. I've been receiving a BSoD nearly 2 weeks right after I purchased it. I thought it was a computer software concern (memtest didn't report errors) but none of the procedures operate for overcoming this problem. One of Window's remedy (usually under no circumstances performs) was to treat it as a driver problem and re-set up every little thing. It's about 4 months now and I have to admit that it this a hardware concern connected to the RAM.I'm not the only individual to experience this particular BSoD due to faulty, undetectable RAM. A lot of other folks have experienced it (with other brands also). They just got new RAM and it solved the problem.. quite odd.Just believed I'd mention this F.Y.I. incase Quality Control may possibly have overlooked it. It passes all memtest but can still be faulty. This is a great brand RAM. Just make positive you don't over look this little concern when it happens.I give it two eggs for Quality Manage -__-'There goes โ trigger it took me four months to discover the problem.

Low profile, heavy sturdy, properly built heatspreaders, price tag, ease of use. Lifetime warranty. Extremely very good chips. They look a lot much better than in photos. Dont actually see any, I knew what I required it for and what I could do with it. For me value was the issue and this had great promo. These dimms shocked me how effortless they fired up soon after set up. My mobo GIGA EP45-UD3R. I currently had bios settings set to 1066 five-5-5-15 but my volts had been 1.82 and i was worried the method would not boot but it did and at these settings. I set this memory to 2.2V just in case per manufacturer and they are operating wonderful.

I was not going to write another evaluation but thought a correction was need to my other post in fairness to Kingston. I thought this was important sufficient to post that could support others with this memory challenge. On Asus motherboards I discovered in my case to throw out what Kingston stated to use for there memory set up and I let the bios do it automatically even even though the numbers were fully distinct. Following setting up the memory to two.2 volts manually and the timings automatically set to five-7-7-24-31 the memory works perfectly now even after 4 hours continues operating under prime95. Following the set up my CPU-Z and my AMD overdrive utility now says that we are now running at 535.two MHz and a grand total of 1070.four MHz with no challenges now. I was not satisfied with kingston's technical support on this concern and thought that they need to have posted some answers to this problem on there web site. I also think that the proper setup info need to have been integrated with the ram. I also noticed that some of the other manufactures on the newegg site was giving tech support on there product like Gskill was and under no circumstances noticed anything from kingston at all. For this purpose i will still only give the memory 3 out of five. I will most most likely appear into Gskill or corsair next time for memory.

Operating 8GB of this @ 1066. 5-five-five-15 2.2v. Locked my Q6600 in a fiveɈ ratio and OC to 1333 FSB. I have run a couple memtest86+ and it seems to be carrying out fine. My EVGA 123-YW-E175-RX detected these at 800Mhz and with some of the timings incorrect. Was uncomplicated to right, just use the factory recommended setting on Kingstons site.I attempted to OC these to 1333 for a 1Ʌ ratio with my FSB, and failed. Haha, not seriously a con since I knew I wouldn't be in a position to. I am going to tweak around a bit to see if I can OC these 8 GB at all. I do fully grasp exactly where people today are coming from when they are getting issues. The correct motherboard can make all the difference.EVGA 123-YW-E175-RXQ6600 @ 3. 1333 FSB9800 GTX+eight GB HyperX

Ofcourse due to the fact this is DDR2-1066 you have to set timings, at 1st i only ran two sticks of this 4gb total passed prime95, i game each and every day and its been very fantastic so far so i picked up one more set, ive heard of folks having issues running four sticks of 1066, this worked flawless at two.two volts stock timing settings, ram has extremely modest coolers which was needed taking into consideration the CPU air cooler im operating, it hovers over the initial ram slot, good bang for the buck, fantastic benchmark, with my setupPhenon II 940 BE OC three.48 gb kingston hyperx 1066gtx 465M3n-HT deluxe mobo see other thoughts the price tag has gone up 20 dollars because my first obtain :-\, but hey its worth it still

It performs if you are lucky sufficient to have a motherboard it will work in. My old ASUS P5 runs it half way decent underclocked. I wish I would have sent this memory back when I had the opportunity. Way too quite a few compatibility issues. I had to give it at least 1 egg. I have often liked Kingston memory. I have used it for years. I think they dropped the ball with their HyperX memory. Don't obtain something that says HyperX. My son bought some that is a various part quantity and we had to RMA that as well.

pop both of them in and they work, sadly im one of those who are still on DDR2 so this increased the capacity from 4gb to 8. it's very ironic that ddr2 costs more than ddr2, very strange indeed

looks nice, has heatspreaders, which given that most mobos cram the ram so that they touch is good. it is 1066, and was hoping to upgrade from my ancient OCZ platinum. For whatever cause, windows bluescreened virtually instantaneously when any of the 4 sticks had been in the laptop or computer. I wasn't even operating them at full speed. I tried each 1066MHz and 800MHz. I also tried normal voltage and their claimed voltage. Gigabyte claims to be compatible with practically all kingston ram, and kingston claims it is compatible with any DDR2 based system. somebody lied. in addition to that, these suckers are rated for two.3V, which is way above the DDR2 common of 1.8V as a outcome, they run actually hot. The most exciting portion is that the memory passed memtest, three passes, even at total speed (or at least close, it was operating 1012MHz according to memtest) But absolutely nothing would function with them in. I couldn't even launch windows 7 setup (I am operating 64-bit) to reinstall, since Vista x64 (and thus, presumably win7) didn't like important ram upgrades.

Cons:Require 2.3V to run at 1000+ speed and not all mobo can do this...

Pros:Runs well with my overclocked Q6600 (4.05ghz) and run 4 stick of that n 1126mhz 5-5-5-15-52 TrD 8
Comment:
Got it and was wondering if 4 stick will run at their full speed without throwing high voltage to it... No problem at all, runs perfect to (the 2 new one) 1242mhz 5-5-5-15 n 2.3V and run my 4 n 1126mhz 5-5-5-15-52 TrD 8 and it simply destroy the benchmark !!!Know a friend that have the same that runs 1208mhz n 4-4-4-12-40 n 2.8V for 2 years (with kingston hyperx fan) and the ram never burn out even at this voltage so really strong product and great overclocking chips is in there for sure !!!
