Created for older ddr3 mobo's check kingstons website thats why it has a higher voltageI have a 790i tossed 8 gigs of this in set it to 1.8v functions ideal Blue is so bright you could prolly see it from space (not seriously a con I like it) I got the 790i from an upgraded RMA and attempted some of the DDR3 we had laying around though waiting for this ram to arrive due to the fact I'm impatient. it was rated for 1.65v and i7 systems, I couldn't get it to run much more than 30min |

These are some great chips. I've only had them a week but they have served me effectively so far. I have tried clocking them to the specified 1800 but have only been in a position to get 1600 out of them. I'll crack em' soon sufficient although. I feel that is a motherboard problem anyway. I purchased 8 gigs worth and they just appear so good by means of my see-through side panel. |

Kingston HyperX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1800 Desktop Memory
Cons:
Not much room for overclocking
Pros: ReliablePretty fast Comment:
I tried pushing these memories a bit by playing with voltage, but just couldn't get much more overclock. Still it's fast enough for my processor and is definitely not a bad purchase. Ran torture test for 24 hours without fault. |

Kingston HyperX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1800 Desktop Memory
Cons:
Cost. Heat.
Pros: Speed. Size. Comment:
1600 or 1800MHz is absolutely necessary to get the most out of today's multi-core processors. These are great for gaming, scoring 8.2 on the Windows 7 WEI. Make certain that your motherboard supports the speed. Not all do, and some only support 1800MHz with two dimms and not four. |
I adore the appear the HS's are excellent & THEY Perform (good to place situation fan close to if possible) operates fantastic with ASRock 890x Extreme3 mobo, AMD Phenom II x4 955, Corsair SSD 60GB & Win7. Will purchase once more, may purchase very same pair to go to 8GB. None at this time
