Chips have been fully functional with no problems for over a year now. Not "cool to appear at" unless you're into the 'old-school' appear of technology. They function as advertised. I bought these as a present to go in a pc that you can't see inside, so the look does not matter 1 bit at all. Possessing utilized that method periodically both ahead of and following installation, I know that these sticks are completely operational with no difficulties. |

This memory is super tiny, I didn't know DIMM's could come this tiny! I was suprised at how properly this ram overclocks stable. Had it to 940 so far but my CPU clock frequency is maxxed out now.Overall it's a good deal for the price. No heat sinks, but then yet again they don't seriously get that hot if you have a decently ventilated situation. CL is 6, which isn't that excellent for the size/speed of this memory. If you just have an AM2 cpu and can only run up to ddr2 800 anyway this memory is excellent. I got it for ล shipped, but that sale has gone away now I see. If you have an AM2+ cpu don't bother with this and go straight for 1066 ram. I just bought a set of G. Ability 1066 ram with heat sinks 2X1gb for ะ and cost-free shipping. I ended up donating this ram to my brother's Pc which has my old 4600+ dual core in it. |

Its Cheap Is not operating in DUAL CHANNEL mode, (could be a virgin MB bios) also it is brief and that could cause the ram not to cool as good as normal sized ram get this if you have a space concern in a mini computer case or one thing like that, Kingston sells everything from inexpensive eco ram to the elite ram if i were kingston i would have a seprate brand name for superior ram you under no circumstances know what your genuinely obtaining from the specs |

i am impressed, its low profile which surprized me, specially in low profile or ATX circumstances, runs Incredibly cool, NO external cooling expected however this is not a con, you will need to place it in slot 1 and three in ECS mobos to make kick into DC mode, this has been the norm in all mid or high end mobos i know of, i also run win ProX64 legit i personal a copy i bought final yearit runs on a WD Raptor 174 GIG raid array, windows is nevertheless stupid if you dont have afloppy it oent install the drivers, and the bios wont see the RAID array on XP64 install quite fristrating i wish it was SLI, rumor has it that with the existing bios update it will run 1066 Mhz mode, that is bothersome, why should i run and deal with that, blowing a bios is sweating bullets i wish it had XFire, aslo it is my exclusive gaming machine, WOW, FC, FC2, CoD, each STEAM game, just flat out hauls the mail. with the concerns of world of warcraft in bed with nVidia i am kinda stuck, ATI video cards will max out at 60FPS this one averages 255FPS, so if you run WoW plan to price range for a excellent nVidia card i will be placing in 8 gig in this monthX4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W four gig of kingston ram, ECS A770M-A AM2+/AM2 A9 with the present bios update it goes to AM3. Low price for DDR2 800 dual channel + free of charge shipping + Kingston pretested security = fantastic system RAM. Latency could be much better, but that would have cost far more. Haven't seen any low-rise RAM sticks before, so I was kinda afraid of snapping them unintentionally (probably unfounded). My system only recognizes the RAM as running at approx 387MHz = 774MHz DDR2 (not the complete 800). Possibly just a motherboard matter, I'll try clocking it up greater later on when I have the free time. |

I've purchased alot of this ram with out a single issue on any builds. not superior searching. plain and simple design is what your paying for Egg saver shipping is ridiculous! 3 to 7 company days turns into 10 enterprise days simply because the package will be drop off by DHL at the post workplace and you get it snail mailed the rest of the way. From now on it's 3 day with UPS. Now I know what brown does for me. |
