Well, at first I believed it was the motherboard mainly because it wouldn't POST (No BEEPS), but realizing how to troubleshoot, I took out the memory to see if it would BEEP. It did. I put one in and it booted. I put the other 1 in, no POST. I tried it in each DIMM slots and very same result. Basically I got one particular negative stick of memory. I give it a rating of three simply because Something could have occurred. Damaged at the plant, for the duration of shipping, and so on. Good low profile. Overclocks effectively and didn't get quite hot so no will need for heat spreader. Doesn't wash windows.... 2 Gigs will run XP and adequate for most persons operating Vista and 7.

Works wonderful, and is really cheap. Cost-free shipping is a definite plus. None. I got this to upgrade my pc from two GB to 4GB, only to understand that Windows XP only permits a maximum of 3.five gigs. I can't get a refund due to the fact of the return policy for this specific item, so that sucks. Newegg's service was outstanding although.On a different note, I don't know why Newegg continues to deal with DHL. They are, without having a doubt, the WORST parcel service accessible. It took almost a week to get my package, adn they supplied no tracking updates whatsoever.

This is the 1st dual channel set I have bought in a while and it works perfectly. Just popped it in the motherboard and had no complications beginning up. Voltage settings were ok as properly which necessary completely no tinkering of the bios. I realize that Kingston has decreased the size of memory modules which is ok but I had a little bit of trouble inserting the each and every stick in the slots because of the tiny size. Works just like it is supposed to without having any troubles and I couldn't have been additional pleased with this set. I already had 2GB installed onto the mobo but decided to add two much more gigs to beef up efficiency considering that I had a lot of programs operating. Sadly I am running Vista 32-bit so the pc will not recognize more than three.three gigs due to address limitations. I am preparing to install the 64-bit version of Windows 7 although when it comes out.

Worked excellent while it worked RAM failed following a few months. Nonetheless need to have to total the RMA with Kingston. I knocked off an egg since of the failure, I've had excellent luck with Kingston RAM in the past, but you can't win all of them.

Low cost You get what you pay for it does not respond properly to SLI'ed Videocards and you will have to install heatsinks on them if you program on performing any high finish gaming Whould be good if all ddr 800 were around the similar latency

its kingstonsnapped it in location and it was instantly reconized when i booted my personal computer up, works as i expected, no suprises the sticks are not as big as they utilized to make them, and its type of tough to take it out of the black tray, i thought i was gonna break it

I got this RAM on sale through the Web Crasher special and I wasn't disappointed.Reasonably good timings.All this for less than $60 is an an amazing bargain.I would definitely purchase again.
