It functions incredibly properly. quickly boot up and wonderful speeds in a quad core setup. i ordered this by accident rather of the 2.5 inch, and the connections are diverse. the adapter is about ű. my error, it was on sale, and i grabbed it whilst i could. i originally bought this for my laptop. it elevated start-up time, but did not aid with the battery life alot (maybe 30 minutes) and my laptop is a step up type a netbook, so maxize improvements had been not observed. i sold the laptop and the drive sat on my desktop for about 1 month. 1 month later, i constructed my personal desktop, and utilized it. (yeah, a 1.8 inch drive in a desktop is kinda strange) my setup is fairly good on my desktop. quad core at three.9GHZ, 4gb DDR 3, and sata 6gb's connections. this drive produced the begin up about 8 - 12 seconds (not really positive) and just about every operates extremely properly. all programs commence up quite quick. i love it. now i bought a tablet Pc, and i am debating if i want to use it or not. i assume i may just get a 2nd one particular, but one particular that is greater on power.
