Love Kingston RAM, have used it primarily for almost 16 years. Either the mini ITX mobo didn't like this memory, or I got two sticks DOA (first 1 and second replacement. Gave this a 3 simply because it may have been the board and I have no issues with Kingston, not to mention that Newegg was good for the return/refund.

Simple, Great Top quality, No Fuss. Extremely low Profile...half the height of other RAMS. Really intriguing. Runs on my MSi MOBO. Low-cost. None. A godo Ram for daily use.

I bought this ram to go into a jetway through mobo. The mobo needs low density ram. I guess this is high density. Oh properly my mistake none

Fantastic RAM and fantastic speeds. I place two 1G sticks to replace the two 512MB sticks my sister had in her old Pc. Needless to say the instillation was straightforward and the preformance is wonderful. None. Just sucks that UPS was a day late on delivering this product.

Incredibly small and out of the way ... may well save space for those of us who use mini or Micro ATX motherboards. Packaging was dull searching. I got this as a gift for my Computer illiterate father ... his old Pc is now running at todays normal speeds just by upgrading the RAM.

I have by no means bought a Kingston memory stick that was negative. None I operate in retail electronics and advise Kingston to my customers and tell them to visit newegg.com to acquire their ram memory. Ideal site on the net!

1 gig Had first 1 installed by Geek Squad. Faulty RAM. locked up laptop or computer. RMA'ed it. Got a different. Very same story. They mentioned, "try PNY. we get a LOT of kingston's that are faulty." going to try PNY most likely

inexpensive, operates looks kinda goofy (only like, 1ǘ inch tall) ***NOT compatible with the ram that came in my parents HP a1616n desktop. Bought this to upgrade their pc to 2gb, wound up obtaining a second kingston stick to replace the original that came with the pc. Turns out the ram HP utilised in a lot of their desktops refuses to function with many other brands, but with kingston sticks at this cost, it doesnt truly matter.

I purchased it from Newegg. I essentially can't rate the item as it did not perform with my motherboard. I have had very fantastic luck with Kingston RAM for numerous years and this product is in all probability fine, also. Newegg was great with RMA approach! There's a 15% restocking fee, but it's not their fault. As far as I know, there are none. The poor rating is genuinely for my motherboard (see below) but I generally check the lowest ratings to see what types of problems folks have and I wanted to make positive it got observed by owners of MSI motherboards. Following looking by means of dead hyperlinks on MSI's web site I identified the manual for my PM8PM-V 2. board. It says it functions with PC2-400 Mhz/PC2-533 Mhz RAM. This is PC2-4200 鹕 Mhz) RAM, I assumed it would operate. I bought the maximum ƒx1gb) for two computers.When I open the computer up, it has PC2-5300 黛 Mhz) in. Hmm...that's strange. I double check the manual--yes, supposed to be compatible. In reality, I later was in a position to locate (despite broken hyperlinks) an MSI test report which showed they had tested this RAM with this MB successfully. Nonetheless, I tried 4 different modules in pairs and alone in both slots. Each time the result is only a lengthy beep of death. Tried manually setting the CL and RAM speed in the BIOS, with no luck. Extended story short, stay away from this if you have an MS-7222 also identified as PM8PM-V. I'm not certain which is the right model quantity. I found other users with the exact same complications and unique speeds/brands. I wouldn't even try upgrading the RAM. Dump the motherboar

Got it in the mail popped it correct into my Dell C521 and it read it as rapid as my desktop loaded up.Good size for the sticks aswell really compact which created it just suitable for my slim case. n/a

Bought four 1-gig sticks and they all perform. Purchased 4 1-gig sticks and 3 are the compact style and 1 is the traditional size. Come on New-egg....looks count. I don't want my consumers asking yourself if I'm installing mixed RAM in their computer systems.

Excellent worth. Good for systems with older motherboards that want a tiny additional juice. Snapped in and fired up the pc with no troubles. If you are running a 32 bit version of XP, it may not recognize something past 4 gigs of RAM even although it shows up in the BIOS. Not a con actually, just a heads-up.

Really like the physical size of this ram! New half height ram is awesome. Ideal bang for the buck unless you get the two pack! Constantly loved Kingston ram. None.

Low-cost, lots of very good reviews I ordered QTY 2 of these and received two differently sized sticks (physically diverse). One particular of which worked with the intended program, the other did not. Fine for boards (and buyers) that aren't too picky.

Bought this for a friend who had a stick of memory go bad in their HP laptop. They went from 2x256MB DDR2 400 originally to this 1GB DDR2 533 stick. They could tell the distinction right away. No more complaining about slow speed. They bought themselves a couple of a lot more years out of their computer. Didn't bring my any beer when it came. Newegg is awesome.
