none each sticks where poor one was low profile and the other was regular hight I have never seen 2 sticks with the very same part number be two different types of chips on two various types of boards. Has Kinston began shipping what ever they have extra of that week. Functions fine. None. I got them as a upgrade for Dell desktops that had 256mb installed. It had turned them into most powerful computers at the workplace.

This is "low density" menory appropriate for Jetway/Via mobo/cpu boards such as the J7F4K1G5S-LF. It works. It would be nice if Jetway or Kingston would document the needs and difference among low and high density memory.

In no way had any trouble with Kingston memory. Purchased it to upgrade the Everex GPC2-R laptop or computer that came standard with 512MB. I got the laptop or computer and memory, installed the ram and booted her up. Ran smooth as glass. Not really a negative, but the stick is so tiny. Guess I am just thinking like a woman, ought to operate just as superior as the bigger ones. LOL

It's 1 Gig of Ram. Will need I say more. It bumped my system up another gig and is operating fine. I havn't detected any troubles with it. It was safely packaged and arrived within a week. None so far. If your looking to just speed up your system then for the price you may well as effectively go for it as long as you know what your doing. It's low-cost and does it's job. Just make sure you know which ram you need ex. (PC-4200) and not a diverse kind just before you acquire.

Pc is never ever slow, never locks up. Absolutely this has additional to do with the Pc than just the RAM. This RAM can handle a lot. It wasn't free?

Good low profile. I noticed a Large difference on an older 2006 model Dell that I upgraded with Windows 7. I went from 512MB RAM to two of these to put it at 2GB RAM. None I would advocate this item for users of the Dell Dimension E310.

Prior version worked fantastic! This is SS SDRAM and with my motherboard will only post at half the stated size. Previously ordered this and it was DS SDRAM and post full size. Went to a nearby shop and got the DS version and works wonderful. The Kingston websight specifies this as 16 modules which must equate to DS but that is not what appears to be at present shipping. Processed and RMA but you have to pay a lot more than half the value of the RAM and apparently no guarrantee as to which versioon you will get.....just threw it away instead.

affordable, quick boost for a decent machine none genuinely, the chip was oddly modest in height. in my 12 plus years encounter i do not think I had ever observed something that smaller in height when I took it out of the package. it is even in height with the clamps on each side of it. good ram, kingston is reliable and constantly works properly for me

1 gig chips on sale, free shipping and low profile. Just look at the number of reviews. Need to tell you some thing! None snapped correct in to my HP Pavilion a1710n which only came with a measly 1024MB. It's not going to make your laptop or computer any quicker, just able to run more applications at the same time(for those who thunk distinct)
