If your system needs PC3200 or PC2700 this DDR RAM stick is the way to go. I paid 34.99 for 1GB stick. Kingston ValueRAM is the way to go! Simple, good quality RAM. I bought 8 sticks to upgrade corporate workstations (HP dc7100) and they all work flawlessly.

nine times out of ten, when one of my parents complains about their computer being slow, it's cause the package PC they bought from the local shop only has the bare minimum to run the bundled OS. Kingston Value RAM saves the day every time.

Kingston ValueRAM PC3200 1GB DDR400 CL3-3-3 184PIN DIMM Memory

Pros:Great Price, excellent upgrade for the buck.
Comment:
I wasn't sure if I needed a RAM upgrade, since I was already using 1 GB (2x512MB) of generic memory in my current PC. Well, I was reading of the many benefits of having more RAM, especially with alot of the memory-hungry apps and games of today. I do a lot of digital audio recording, and I also play tons of online-gaming, so most of my time on the computer is very memory-intensive. The difference between this Kingston ValueRam and my old generic variety is night and day, on all fronts. All my programs run faster and smoother. My audio recording programs experience no latency when recording, of which my creativity reaps the benefits. No more losing that magical musical moment that might have been otherwise lost due to my old RAM causing crashes and instability within the program. This RAM is problem free. Gaming is also a whole new experience. After playing BF2 for weeks with this Kingston ValueRam, my stats and awards keep climbing. I almost feel as though I have an unfair advantage over other players now. Yes, it did make that much of a difference. You can't go wrong with this RAM, buy it now if you are having any thoughts.

Comment:
Kingston ValueRAM is always a great buy. It is just that; it's value. If you aren't a RAM overclocker and you don't know/care what the latency numbers mean when looking at RAM, this is the best choice you can make. That isn't to say this RAM is bad for O/C'ing, I really don't know.

Comment:
I bought 2 sticks so now I have 2gb rams and it's been 3 month and nothing has gone wrong, very reliable. Definately an upgrade worth its money from 512mb when I'm trying to play some games. Shorten loading times and smoother play.

Kingston ValueRAM PC3200 1GB DDR400 CL3-3-3 184PIN DIMM Memory
Cons:Budget ram, not designed or appropriate for much overclocking.

Pros:Seems to be a good, reliable 1GB module. Much more affordable than Apple OEM or Kingston Apple upgrade modules.
Comment:
These are a great stick of ram for a system where more than 1GB of ram is required and ram slots are at a premium, with a budget in mind. I found this ram to be ideal for upgrading a Mac Mini as it has identical specifications to the OEM and Kingston upgrade kit 1GB modules. The ram dramatically improves OSX and application performance over the original 256MB and the Mac had no issues recognizing the ram and adjusting timings. I ran MemTest for OSX for several hours and it gave the ram a clean bill of health. Running multiple ram intensive applications and switching between them is a breeze. Animation:Master, Photoshop, Imageready, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Mail, and Safari can all run simultaneously with projects open, and it's still fast.
